I was deployed with him and somehow a picture of him and his wife and child on the day of our welcome home ceremony made it on this video! Love it!

Do you know how much money the United States gave the Saddam Hussien regime during the '80's? The Reagan administration felt that Saddam was the lesser of two evils and supplied them with billions of dollars of economic aid and weapons/technologies(including chemical weapons gases). I saw a sign in the vid showing protestors. "honor the warrior not the war". But to turn on what the warrior is trying to do is to turn on the warrior. You cannot completely divorce the warrior from the war. To cast shame on the war trickles down to the warrior though some in the armed forces might not agree with the war. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just strikes me that way... like:
"Honor God, not what he does"
"Honor America, not how it treats people"

I am currently enlisted in the US Army in the 101st Airborne 1-75th Cab 2nd BCT. I'll be on a plane to Iraq in less than a week. This song/video is absolutely amazing. It makes me proud to be a US Soldier. I won't ever give up. I salute the makers of this song.
