  • Nice use of the APC

  • Heeey, I know that beat!

    Where are they from?

    Can't remember x_x

  • cool. innovative indeed

  • for all the programming effor, why not just play the keyboard ?

    admire the techical aspect mind

  • Because everyone plays a keyboard. Im trying to do something different and be innovative. Also i would have to map every clip to a key using a keyboard. This way i didn't have to. Also i had the option to volume fade it out. Nudge it. Make use of the 'retrigger' clip functions. Use fx. etc. Also i like the fact that the matrix is in rows.. Like guitar strings :) And i'm a guitarist. The way the matrix is layed out opened up a different creative whole in my brain. It's very different to keys :)

  • @MrBillsTunes Your reasoning is good, but do know that the APC40 isn't velocity sensitive, so it has a little less function than a keyboard. There are unique keyboards like axis 64 which are velocity sensitive, but it looks like it's really difficult to buy one. Kind of a shame.

  • I could have resampled the C on my guitar and put it in a sampler then played that on keys. But then i would've lost the true timbre of every other note. It would have played them all faster (or slower) and stretched them. Instead i re sampled all the notes i used. And what fun is resampling one note :P Its been done a million times. Im slowly working out a way i can play live like a guitar without buying a midi guitar.

  • Thanks guys :)

  • Clever.

  • you have nice skin

  • Awesome man
