I have studied with the witnesses and I can tell you they have forgotten more about the bible than most will ever learn. The video is not a good representation of what I experienced. I was able to talk about any subject at anytime ..However, , there is a progression you better. should use in order to understand it. For example, You dont pick up a bible and start reading it half way through.

Jws come to your door and invite you to book studys, Kingdom Halls and the books in their librarys are the same ones offered at anybodt who wants a copy. She was right in one way. She neither knows JWs or bible chronology. Regardless of secular chronology the bible does say the Jews would be in captivity for 70 years. If they were released in 537 B.C that means 607 is correct. There are many historians who agree with 607.

Why is that "strange" to ask someone to a bible study group? Its not like they are Free Masons.

And she stumped them with the "Trinity"!!! Doubt that.

Who cares? JW's are devoted to being poor and ignorant by demonizing education (because they teach critical thinking skills, and yes I can point out the articles in THE WATCHTOWER to prove they are against it.) Also, there's only like 7 million worldwide. That is NOT a large number (although, poor education coming to the fore again, they will try to convinvce you it is.) So, my condolences go out to you if someone you know is trapped in it, but overall it doesn't seem like a concern.

remember the lost tribes of israel? the tribe of judah(jews) and benjamin and some not all of the levis (the chief priest) split and formed the nation of judah! the other tribes remained with israel. israel and judah went to war with each other. the assyrians came and took the nation of israel , thus lost because they worshipped on sunday. the jews always worshipped on saturday, thus thats why we know where they today. so when the BILBE say nation of israel its referring to those lost 10 tribes

@Knifehole I posted this video, and cannot speak for the woman who's in it. In my opinion, she was searching for truth in the matter of 1914, and she declared in this video what her research came to. She's helped me get out of the Watchtower Religion, I was raised in it, my dad being an Elder. I know the Society inside & out, and the reason being, because I researched everything. Look up John 14:6, if no man is teaching this, then it's false and taking you and I away from the truth. Take care.

I do things very differently to how you explain how the studies go. What I do is actually in line with the organisation. We all have our own ways of doing things. I think that people should have their questions answered as soon as possible so that we can get on with the other important parts of developing faith based on accurate knowledge of God. Anyway, if you have difficulty with 1914 then just send me a message and give me a few questions at a time.

@privatepersonalc JWs will never answer the obvious. If Jesus isn't divine how could he forgive sin, perform miracles, teach, all in his OWN name, when these were God's right alone? Why did he accept worship? Why didn't he correct those who called him God (eg Thomas Jn20:28)? Why was he tried for blasphemy? Why does God, according to JWs, sacrifice someone else (Jesus) - an act of vengeance - rather than, if he sacrificed himself for us as Jesus - God as a human - a supreme act of love?
