There is an Evergreen Cooperative in Cleveland, and Richmond California, is putting people to work by starting smaller Cooperatives. Its a better way to work. Don't we all want that?
The State bank of North Dakota isn't really the cause of economic growth or the good economy in North Dakota. North Dakota just recently discovered resources that they have never found before that has provided growth in that state and the fact that there is barley no one there and its not industrialized in a lot of areas so it has less to worry about

There has never been a pure capitalist country just like there has never been a true communist country. Communism is a stateless ideology and a classless ideology. Well, I think its a little more complex than the way you are making it out to be. There were a lot of problems, segregation, discrimination against women and the LGBT community, the war and economic problems that existed and started to form. Forcing people into war with the draft, friends and family who died. Many of them did have jobs, they had to eat, they had to sleep, they had to drink, they had to have money to live so they did work.
But they did focus heavily on changing the political system and the social issues in the country. I'm not a communist at all but I do understand that despite the illegal activity that they took part it, they were very influential in changing the policies and attitudes in this country. Having a banking system is not an issue really, even fiat currency is not a problem with me. Fiat currency is suppose to be money issued and created by the government. What we have is a private banking system which is the federal reserve printing the money in exchange for government bonds, this creates debt and inflation and problems in the long run. We can have a nationalized bank that can print debt free currency that are then handed to smaller banks and local banks
The issue is also having proper laws and freedoms and rights and people in power who will not abuse the system of money and the entire system in general.

You gotta realize that it was during a time where entire groups of people not just African Americans but other minorities, women, and people in the LGBT community were being discriminated and segregated, friends and family were being forced into war and many died in the process. But its not the cause of North Dakota's low unemployment. There has never been a pure capitalist country just like there has never been a true communist country. Communism is a stateless ideology and a classless ideology. The entire point of Communism was never government but people took advantage of that and made it that. Pure Communism has never been tried and neither has pure capitalism. Both ideologies needed to have government and private sector.

Government was involved, there were still government regulations, taxes, the entire land was owned by the government. And transportation was funded publicly. Well, in the 60ies many radicals fought their political battle instead of looking for a job. In today's working world this would be deadly. In the USA more than in Europe with its still quite working welfare states.

Well, I think its a little more complex than the way you are making it out to be. There were a lot of problems, segregation, discrimination against women and the LGBT community, the war and economic problems that existed and started to form. Forcing people into war with the draft, friends and family who died. Many of them did have jobs, they had to eat, they had to sleep, they had to drink, they had to have money to live so they did work.

I'm not a communist at all but I do understand that despite the illegal activity that they took part it, they were very influential in changing the policies and attitudes in this country. Having a banking system is not an issue really, even fiat currency is not a problem with me. Fiat currency is suppose to be money issued and created by the government. What we have is a private banking system which is the federal reserve printing the money in exchange for government bonds, this creates debt and inflation and problems in the long run. We can have a nationalized bank that can print debt free currency that are then handed to smaller banks and local banks

Money and politics has nothing to do with a big government. Shrinking the size won't get lobbyists to stop or money in politics to stop.
