I'm curious if there is another version of these parking garages. By which I mean to say, I thought I saw a video several months prior of a vertical garage that turns the vehicles upright like a coat rack. Is there such?

Wow, I never seen that before. There are a number of parking garages in Philly with car lifts, but the Japanese solution is hard core. :)
