at hishammoroccom, you are right. I know a couple who spent more then 20 thousand euro´s on their wedding and their marriage only last for 3.5 months. And lot of other couples who married in Morocco traditional way spent maybe 1000 euro´s and lot of poor people hat the time of their life and had a good meal. Well they are still together and are very happy.

@MyPrincessyaya ...It depends which part of Morocco you are in...if you are in Marrakesh or having a Marrakesh themed wedding, there is a lot of music called "Daka l Marrakshia", it's drumming (a very nice beat) with songs are sung out loud, normally to describe the bride and how beautiful she looks. On the wedding night you will have or can have a lot of entertainment-Moroccan weddings have a brilliant atmosphere and basicly you'll be treated like a real princess on the day trust me!

Shariah that means the Islamic law, there you will find all rules about the Islam en her cases. Baraka means blessings. Like this marry, we don´t know of there is any blessings in the marriage because they used music and music is Haraam (forbidden) in the Islam / Shariah.
