  • Jeff what is your favorite FNH assault rifle ?

  • SCAR 17.

    Jeff

  • I traded me ar carbine plus a grand for this and never looked back. this thing is amazingly accurate.

  • How would you say this compares to the Kel-tec RFB?

  • Different weapons. I prefer the caliber and handling qualities of the RFB.

  • What he did not mention was the fact that the FN2000 will only take certain types of AR magazines. The RFB is, by far, a better choice. The only prob with that one is that it is only chambered in .308. This rifle also feels weird and is a bit bulky, unlike the RFB. .

  • @KJOSCOT and it uses FAL mags not M14 mags.

  • @godzilla74114 Yeah. But I was talking about the Fn2000. This one is sweet. Sorry for not being too clear about it.

  • @godzilla74114 Metric FAL and some Bren types. Yes, I know that. I wish that the RFB would be more available than they are. Pain in the neck to find.

  • @KJOSCOT Two different weapons for two different jobs, sir. And the FS2000 will take other mags if you remove the gasket.

  • @John234pwns Yes sir, but why should I remove anything? Same with the RFB, why can I not use any FAL magazine, instead of confining said design to the metric variety? Like all machines, they have their own pearls and pratfalls. However, they both have one common design feature, and that is they can kill efficiently, accurately, and quickly depending on the shooter. I would prefer the .308 for varmint/hunting purposes myself because .223 is a bit too small for it for the larger game. Both rock!

  • @KJOSCOT My only point is you're slapping a negative point onto a weapon from a basis that's easily remedied, and that "better" hardly applies to two different platforms suited to two different roles.

  • @John234pwns Your point has been taken. Irregardless to whichever point one subscribes to, it is my opinion, and I have stated it. It was not ALL negative. Nor was it ALL positive. Why is it so hard for you to accept that? Go find yourself some Midol, and sip your chamomile tea with it and just find something more useful to do than to try to 'correct' an individual's mindset.

  • @KJOSCOT Why does anybody correct anything? Generally to be an ass or to highlight something useful. I tried to do the latter, sorry if it came off differently.

  • Man is it just me or does that thing shoot fast good job Jeff..

  • What's the trigger pull like Jeff?

  • Quoting from the text of the review:

"The trigger pull on the sample rifle measured just over seven pounds. It is a very smooth-feeling pull, and feels lighter than it measures. Trigger travel is about one-half inch, and much like a light double-action revolver's pull in feel"

    Jeff

  • that would be good if the f2000 takes over the m4 or m16.but i do know that soon the HK416 is taking the place of the m16 and there talking about the scar is taking place of the m4.the m16 u spead more time cleaning it that shooting it.u should see it in iaq jams like a bicth.

  • @midnightsnakeboa you still need to clean those guns if not they will jam and the 416 is not taking over the m16

  • He never talk negative about any of the firearms that he reviews, it's not realistic.

  • @5687678 its cause he doesnt review stuff he doesnt like... duh... if any gun manufacturer in the US would send you what you want to write a review, wich shitty gun would you pick?

  • @droagan1 Nothing is perfect especially with the price now days, He doesn't even mention any negatives about the firearms, compare to reviewers that paid for their firearms, they are much more transparent with the firearms they've paid for.

  • @5687678 if you dont like his reviews... dont watch them

  • @droagan1 lol i l like that

  • Hippie? you couldn't be more far off.

  • omg shes soo sexy!!! lol man cant wait till basic!

  • you aint gettin that in basic ha

  • @lilant140 You're not getting that in basic.

  • LEFTY FTW

  • that is really strange.....

ejecting the brass out the front, thats pretty cool i bet its allot of money tho ...

  • ur a faggot

  • @johncoons1994 How in anyway does this guy seem gay? You my sir need to come up with a insult that doesnt make you seem stupid.

  • @QHIZ don't feed the trolls

  • is the distance of the trigger from the butt on that bullpup the same as on the AR?

  • pretty much.

  • Need this in at least 6.8mm... preferably 7.62x.51 for full effect. I don't have much faith in the 5.56 though I know i'm going to get blasted for that. Oh well, maybe I'm hypocritical for owning several guns in .223 despite that. These are good guns though; shot one a couple months back and loved it. Ran as many rounds as quick as possible through it and it worked flawlessly.

  • 6.8mm is a pretty great round, but like the same controversy that surrounds the 9x19mm, I think that the .223 or 5.56 is a great round as long as you know where to place them. No one's going to be picky about the .223 or the .308 if it's going through someone or something's head.

  • Oh naturally. I'd still rather have the 6.8 than a 5.56. It's really a small price to pay in reduction of mag capacity, cost and recoil for nearly double the lethality than the 5.56. IIRC it carry's something like twice the energy at range than a 5.56 does. Not a bad little round if you ask me. .308 is pushing it tho... you've gone down to smaller mag sizes and substantially heavier recoil... not to mention the cost of .308 can add up.

  • The 5.56 was designed for a 20" barrel, when shottened leathality is reduced. The 5.56 fragments in soft tissue causing leathal wounds, for this however it must be over a certain velocity, out of a 20" barrel framentation range is about 200 yrds, outof an m4 (14.5" barrel) the fragmentaion range drops to just 45 yrds. As most combat occurs within 300 yrds the 5.56 is fine as long as the barrel is long. thats the good thing about bull pups, long barrel shortend weapon.

  • Ive heard reports that it is reliable, but how does it hold up to sand, water, cold and hot temperatures? I know its easy to field strip but is it easy to clean and maintain? How often does it need cleaning? How does it compare in reliability to other nato used weapons?

  • If you abuse it enough it will still jam, but it is far more reliable then the AR platform. That being said the 2000 takes a little longer to clear a jam in comparison but given the fact it jams so much less it is a worthwhile trade-off.

  • yeah ejected shells in the ear and face can turn one off to shooting. testing a MSAR anytime soon Jeff ?

  • I feel your pain, fellow left handed shooter.

  • i never seen anything like it!

  • pricey but very nice rifles, i'd take one in a sec.
