No he didnt travel.The Nba says that the player gets a 2 count rhythm so the step he takes upon receiving the ball doesnt count anymore so he is free to still take his other 2 steps without being called for the travel and alot of times if your dunk requires a gather move the refs give you 3 steps

Being a ref you have to know when to make the right calls. If a guy is right in your jersey and you are on a fast break, you take ONE extra step it's not called. Only time calls like this should matter is in clutch situations.
