@Sunriel Yeah. =) Abstinance and virginity aren't seen as "good" traits anymore when in reality they should be treasured. I love this show, it was beyond revolutionary.
jordan is under pressure to have sex too. when he screams at angela he says "Its allowed its normal its what your supposed to do. uless your like abnormal." he said that to her when they broke up proving that he isnt some peice of meat but he is a little bit pressured by his guy friends, but not necessarily because hes a virgin, more because he has angela and they expect him to have sex with her. i understand jordan completely, he doesnt like awkward moments.
He is thinking about sex with her. I'm sure he never tried that hard with any other girl. She was different. If she was just sex he would have gotten bored and moved on already.

It isn't romantic, and yeah, it is awkward. Jordan was often a selfish character, but Angela was too afraid to be honest with him. He wouldn't have taken her there if she had said, "No" at the beginning. What he did was still wrong, but it's hard to know if he knew it was wrong because the show is from Angela's point of view.
You know, I've always felt terrible for Angela in this situation, which I still do, but I've never really focused on how flustered he gets when things aren't perfect. Jordan seems to have this idea of sweeping her off her feet to one of 8 bedrooms (hehe) and having glorious sex. He can't take her to his house to have sex, and so his way of improvising (whatever happens, happens) by finding an abandoned house is probably romantic to him.
