  • Joe really knows how to dig deep inside ones soul, doesn't he? I lost my best friend two years ago . He also happened to be my father. I am well aware of how lucky I was to have a father who was also my best friend. I'm sure there is no need to explain what this song does to me and why I love it so much. Thank you Joe. I miss you Pa.

and them i realized i was all the time withhhh youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ;)

  • This is a Ray Charles like song. Absolutely FANTASTIC and timeless. Why didn't I know about this song until now, and I've been listening to Joe Bonamassa songs on Youtube for many weeks now. One of the greatest blues songs ever written- period.

  • @mydogspet It's not a Ray Charles song. It's a Bonamassa original.

  • @kbcarroll Hi KB. I meant that it was "like" Ray Charles. Thanks for letting me know it was his origional. Much appreciated.

  • Joe is pure talent and musicianship!! He is superb and godly and out of this world. I admire him greatly and love all of his music. This is one of my favorite songs of his and it does go deep into the soul and touches you like no other. Forever Joe!!

  • meAOw ..so love this tune <3

  • what album is this from? thanks

  • @infinityjet "You and me"

  • no hay tabs ni partituras ni nada de ESTA VERSION? DE LA VERSION DEL CD??

  • Folks, I just wish that angelic beings of the highest order would infuse into my soul the rightful words to speak, to commend such heart touching love lyrics as these sang far and beyond what any other living soul has sang them with. I would have to say: THIS IS JOE'S SONG. His soul runs deep, to be able to sing this song so supreme as he does. I hope no female ever brakes his heart, the boy is just to good to us all to entertain us like he does. Joe, we love you baby, Thanks for this song.

  • This song is the last one on the DVD from Royal Albert Hall last May '09 is just superbly done and ended a night of great music; and also I think the best version to date that I have heard in my opinion as far as the other recording recordings out there. They're all good, but the RAH version, WOW! BennyTTaT, wish I could have been there.

  • jajajaj mamon no vi q le pusiste letra en la boka

    XD mamonaaa..!!

  • I saw Joe in concert 2 weeks ago. This was the last song he played. Incredible Talent, Incredible Song

  • I saw him last night at the Royal Albert Hall...he finished with this one again and it was absolutely amazing...like the rest of the show!

  • What a GREAT tune,,,and very well done by the Joe the " Master,himself...I can listen to this man all day....

  • New discovery for me...very impressive...love it!

  • I just saw him live and he was absolutely incredible. This song is love. He has an amazing talent and I'm so glad he's running away with it.

  • @Kaybubble57 I also have been privelliged enough to witness his brilliance in the flesh. My mind was blown

  • I Agree with all of you. But I must say that the North Sea Jazz version is considerably better in content and also with only 4 pieces and an exceptional keyboard player it really rounds it out. More power to the new kids on the block ! Also been playen for 45 years and I just cant get enough of that blues sound. Gods power to ya keep playen till ya leave the stage of life...

  • this track gives me goose bumps and tears with a blues that takes me high pure brilliants.

  • WITH THE ROCK-BLUES GREATS GETTING A BIT LONG IN THE TOOTH...IT IS NICE THAT WE HAVE A FEW LIKE THIS MAN TO CARRY THE TORCH...TRULY HE STANDS SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH ANY OF THEM AND i'VE BEEN LISTENING AND PLAYING FOR 41 YEARS

  • Great song:)

  • Makes me cry every time...A touching tribute to all who've passed on. Absolutely stunning. Joe is a rare gift. Thanks so much!

  • wow awesome.....is this the best joe tune???

  • it is, definitly.

  • Excellent! The man has incredible talent. I can imagine Ray Charles smiling, thinking to himself that the torch has past, I can rest quietly now...

  • He'll have no problem makin it to heaven!

  • @WokeUpDreamin ...he already IS in heaven
