  • Czyżby Mortimer?

  • Amazing.

  • Not sure if you already have, but check out rumplemasterpainting's channel, maybe you should try some big scale conversions like his dreadknights....

    (yours are still AWSOME!)

Nearly to AWSOME actually, this first time I watched these I got a headache from to much awesomeness.

  • What sort of thinner do you use for the metallics in your airbrush?

  • @drumwolf22 Vallejo Thinner and Glaze Medium

  • hey that is really awesome im actualy looking for some maybe cheap grey knights this is probobly pretty expensive but could you send me some prices you know i have acces to maybe 200-250 dollars max. im looking for maybe 3 terminator squads dreadnought and kaldor draigo with helmet.

  • How would you base this then?

  • It seems me and a few others are wondering what size magnets where used at 1:17 please.

  • Hey dude can u tell me the size of the two magnets you use?

  • @milo191lm 3x2 mm

  • yet another awesome vid. your work is inspiring thank you

  • Damn, if I wasn't so obsessed with other junk I'd be all over this. Trouble is I don't have steady hands, and I wouldn't be capable of doing fine detail work like the black and gold writing.

  • amazing paint job I like the effect on the sword

  • do you have any suggestions for how to put on decals?

  • Awesome video thanks for all the great tips and info.

  • This is amazing painting. I was just wondering though. Do you mask off the parts you are gluing or does the plastic glue just melt through the paint

  • @DivineEffects glue for models contains the aceton which melts through the paint layers without problem :)

  • @Buypainted Does it melt through the Vallejo Liquid Gold paints too?

  • @Skullchaser08 yes, it does

  • Hi Can i ask what size are the two magnets you used?

  • Excellent tutorial! One question, what the ratio of paint:water:glaze medium?

  • @biogarbe I think he goes more by what looks right to him and less about X:X:X you should try just going 1:1:1 and add more/less as needed would probabaly your best bet.

  • I was wondering if you could supply the complete list of paints you use for your grey knights army?

  • @WarrenJ2009 I'll be painting the Grey Knights in power armour, then I'll include list of paints. I think this will be within 1 week

  • great tutorial ;0) earn a lot of stuff,

  • @feaner 555 you're such an idiot that u didn't noticed that in both videos you can hear the same guy - Mortimer. ;/

  • You are sick! (I love russians) and if your not russian, my bad, you just sound it.

  • OMG probly the best dreadknight ive ever seen rofl :) nice job u tryed golden deamon yet?

  • When you apply the decals do you use water or some kinda decal chemical?

  • which color did u use for the modulation?

  • I love the paint job. its Fantastic. but one question the magnets what size n where from n what type as i have seen many a people use them but always forgot to ask many thanks on a return reply n love the dread knight a real credit

  • great job, absolutely beautiful miniature

  • stunnig video tutorial... just one question, what airbrush model are you using? i'll be very plesed if you answer, thanks in advance

  • @brain74less This is Chinese copy of Iwata (as I know).

  • @Buypainted where can i buy it?

    awesome job btw

  • @Buypainted where can i buy it?

  • Does anyone know what kind of glue he used to put together the painted model?

Mine always turn into slippery smudge if it touches paint

  • @valkyrieseven I used the Humbrol Poly Cement and Ravel Contacta

  • One you painted the red, what wash did you use? Looks very nice and deep.

  • in the recesses behind the gold lettering -- did you paint that gold too, then put a wash over, or did you first paint with red, then put gold lettering on? It looks like a dark Mechrite Red, but I cannot tell. Thank you, beautiful work!

  • @Buypainted Thank you! I'll definately be checking out the local hobby store for it this week. Thanks again, all the best!

  • Best Tutorial I've Seen! Just one question, what kind of glazing do you use in your spray? Keep up the good work!

  • @C0V3N4T0R It's standard Vallejo Glaze Medium

  • Thanks, im buying this model tomorrow and wondered how to even aproach painting it. Ive not painted in about 3 years but I saw this model and fell in love with it. Your guide will help me alot, many thanks from the UK.

  • Excellent video, thank you for the post.

I too use the same primer. I am curious as the the specific glaze medium you use, is it the liquitex? Can you show a picture in another video?

could you also share what varnish you are using?

Finally, amazing work, thank you very much for sharing the video.

  • @davethepak I use Glaze Medium from Vallejo Acrylics. Regarding Varnish I use my own, but Vallejo will be OK

  • I never liked that madel till now. You are a true expert.

  • Hahahaha. I didn't know Niko Bellic painted miniatures xD

  • Well you definately never fail to do the amazing with painting and modeling minis buypainted. This vid is awesome and thank you for sharing it with the community. Great job on the Dreadknight.

  • hahaha CYTADELA rządzi

  • Stunning, just......stunning

  • Excellent, both your painting skill and the walk through.

  • To everybody: Are the metallic Vallejo model air colors compatible with the GW colors mentioned on here? Love the contrast on everything so trying to stay as close as possible to the mentioned color schemes, but it seems almost impossible to accurately see what the Vallejo metallics look like from their website.

  • @jax40kplyr You may use black metal and steel as a base colors. Using Air series will be a little easier for painting

  • Fantastic work, and thank you for sharing how you built and painted it!

  • Another fantastic tutorial and showcase quality paintjob!....It is a treat to watch your vids, my friend...looking forward to the next project you work on...Jim.

  • Great paint job! Very strong color scheme! Your tutorial gives a lot of tips and advices. What are the next steps? Do you plan to give us some tutorials about the Grey Knight Terminators? Some other vehicles? Please keep on with your fine work! Thank you for sharing!

  • Wow that looks fantastic. Are you actually using GW paints in the airbrush. I was trying to airbrush metallics but was having a lot of problems with drying on the tip and airbrush getting stuck. Is there a trick to getting consisten smooth flow with the metallic colors? I'm using Vallejo Model air paints. Only the metallic is giving problem - other paint is good.

  • @falknerblitz answer is in the movie - you have to add glaze medium to metallic paint :)

  • Perfect! Thanks!

  • Stunning stuff, Excellent tutorial.

  • amazing!!

  • Terrific

    CS

  • Well demonstrated, excellently painted, incredible tutorial.. Thank you.

  • Great work!. Is there no decals in the box sets?

  • @TinyHabanero No. It's shame on GW that they didn't released a sheet with decals for Grey Knights. Transfers with swords, skulls, =][=, would be great addition to box of Grey Knights. Transfers would be very useful.

  • Damn! I need to buy an airbrush! :D Thank you for sharing this video, it gives you a lot of great advices!

  • Wow! duzeh dobre lol. amazing work. what kind of glaze medium did you use and how much did you use when mixing?

  • @emtyach I do not know :). To make paint good for the painting. I'ts about 50% of paint, maybe 70%. It vaires because every paint is different. I check how the mix looks like and make changes. It's very easy but you have to a little practice.

  • Amazing work, the Dreads look awesome!

  • your work is soo sweet, I watched it twice! awesome job!

  • Love the accent!

  • what primer is that?

  • @mason130496 Vallejo Air Grey Primer

  • Very cool... Cannot wait to get one here

  • great looking model.can't wait to start painting mine
