@Canadian2 The supermassive black hole...... makes sense in a way, but its gravity must be destroying itself. all blackholes callapse on themselves, yet it would make sense if there were smaller version of it nearby. but still...... Epic view no matter what.

@TheKhive Actually, supermassive black holes do not collapse in on themselves, nor do any black holes. What you are thinking of is giant stars that collapse in on themselves from having to much gravitational force to supernova. Usually, giant stars only become neutron stars but if the star is a supergiant, they will further collapse into a black hole. Supermassive is just the name for black holes made from multiple supergiant stars or exceptionally large stars.

if anyone is interested, look up "scale of the universe 2" it is an awesome and educational experience. it really puts into perspective just how incredible the universe is.
