What if the alien does know how to hide by going invisible or changing dimension. Neverthless, mysterious UFO sight were reported with evidience in the 70s and 80s that are still unanswered by modern science. What if our improved technology made them concerned they want to save themselves from being spoiled by uncivilised warlike earth-creatures? I wont say it must what i said. that's an interesting point. And you may be very correct about the invisible dimensions. You see, just like a Mirage conceals the ground making it look like water (becase light enters our eyes at a certain angle, blocking the ground vision) similarly, we are blind to the portals to the other worlds, even though they might be right in front of us.
