I don't get why people have to make a rivalry over this because either XBOX makes you pay for XBOX Live or PS3's move controller looks weird.

To be honest, I think Microsoft did better with Kinect than Sony did with move. Not that its superior, just that its different. They actually chose to do something that is different than Nintendo. That is allowing them to capture a lot more of that blue ocean market than Sony has. Although in the long run Microsoft probably should make their own motion controller like Nintendo's and Sony's.
