everything is as wrong as it can get. the dialog is random, irrelevant to the narrative, and is destroyed by weird camera angles and even weirder editing. not to mention the poor acting. the film would have been the worst piece of shit ever made even without the awful special effects.

Hey, if there's a paycheck in it.... ;-) Seriously, even god-like actors like Sir Ben Kingsley and Dame Judi Dench are routinely in god-awful movies (Kingsley was in Bloodrayne, for instance), simply because it's an easy paycheck. That's how you make a long, stable career in ANYTHING: you take whatever business comes your way.

If it's a shitty movie, that just means you don't have to work as hard for the money! Show up, fart out your lines, and collect. ;-)
