some guy here in savannah ga has this jaguar. he drives it like a nut and floors it every time some other sports car is around him i got next to him in my 08 shelby gt 500 and he was trying to race me there was to much traffic. I couldnt floor my car. I think he would have lost.

So why by another? Try a real car, Benz AMG, most any AMG will do the trick! I had a XKR Silverstone, sold it for my E55 AMG.

I will admit I am a fan of the more traditional Jag look and when these came out,it seemed like they borrowed a bit from the porsche body style. The more I get used to the look the more I think it is a hot car.

Aston Martin V8 is a beautiful car but the Aston Martin dealers here put a $20,000 mark up on the car. That's too much for me, as I can get the same or even better performance with the Jaguar XKR. So in a nut shell my friends at Livermore Jaguar hooked me up and saved me a lot of money:) That's why I bought the Jag instead of the Aston.

yea, V8 with a supercharger, has a very high rev band, so on a long enough road with no limeter it could probaly reach 190, ive been to america a few times, trust me you have it easy, here in england theres loads of speed cameras, you get done for doing 100 mph, germany is the future, because there are no speed limits lol, good luck, and dont kill yourself.

yea good point, the jaguar is a beauty, and its still fast, someone i know has had 175 mph out of his and that had a limeter on it.

I'm not really a M5 or M6 fan, they look like regular cars. This Jaguar XKR coupe is soooo sexy though, plus I can't really go fast here in California, I already have too many tickets:) But don't get me wrong this car can still kick arse:)

jaglover346, jaguar xkr engineering is shit and made of plastic, m5 m6 and mercs have great engineering, are great to drive, better fuel economy, i mean, the jag has an old V8, its something like 10 yers old, plus, 70 odd thousand pounds for that, when you can have an m5 for 10k less, which is faster, bigger boot, and much better build quality. and there not ugly, they are just modern.

How do YOU know the engineering is better? Better fuel economy? The V10 in the M5 gets like 10MPG, shit. Age? Doesn't matter, it's been upgraded. Also Jaguar gets a 5.0 V8 with 510BHP soon, own M5.
