THANK YOU i love pit bulls i have one but if i had my choice i would go to the end of the world to get and and love every pit bull i see and the one i have her name is tango and she is a pit bull and i love her to death
i love pit bulls with all my heart, they are sweet dog.My dad use to abuse them and i use to cry every day for them.I also had a pit bull name pebbles and she was my heart, until my dad sold her and lied and say she ran away.i think about every day.I MISS YOU PEBBELS.
una realidad demasiado dolorosa para quienes amamos de verdad a estos perros ...q en lo unico q son peligrosos es en q ocupan mucho sofa ...o ...demasiado espacio en nuestras camas
Now they blame the Pitbull...when will they blame Humans?"
Cesar Millan: AKA"The dog whisperer"
Now people this all the way true and those of you who think these helpless dogs are nothing but untameable animals, but the fact is we are the untameable animals, WE cause them to be this way THEY are not like this naturally. They are nothing but loving and affectionate :)
i do agree that owners are PART to blame. THese dogs are illegal in the uk , but we have alot of staffordshire bull terriers which have a bad rep. They scare the shit out of me but if i look at the staffy owners , they are usually very rough people that kick them about . Chav type people. i have to say i do believe there is some natural aggression in these dogs. Both pitbulls and staffordshires.Every time i hear a dog attack , its a staffordshire. EVERY time. The owners are not always bad either
Anybody who says they should be put down... You a fucking nigger! (No racist smack down against regular black people) But Wiggers and Niggers causes this shit to happen... Don't blame the breed, blame the owner!
pitbull,s are great dogs , as every dog involved getting popular , every dog can be a potential danger because lack of breeding . Pitbull,s are clever animal,s when properly bred , and very stable ones too.
i guess , when a healthy pitbull is in healty hands you have yourself one of the best dog you can have.
this is my opinion , and there are off course plenty other good breeds .
the music makes me nervous , not debating taste but it is pretty busy.
my doggie (rhodesian ridgeback ) has got puppies before the summer vacation & we keep one of them & hes's now 9 months & weights 52KG , but everyone is scared of him cuz he's so big & muscled , but if you going to play with him & staring @ his cute face ,its so cute ;p
not that 's possible to staring at his face , cuz hes licking you face all wet :P
we need 2 do the same , just play with the dog & see......what for a cute dog it is (or not )
wow whoever made this video is amazing...you almost made me cry. I've been saying the same thing for years about these gorgeous creatures....absolutely amazing, i love this video
Great video and illustrates well, how the onus is on the owner!! We had a pitbull for 15 years and she was too amazing to even begin to write about. We spoiled her shamelessly and she was never treated with anything but love and respect. We talked to her and touched her continuously. What we got back, far surpassed what we gave her. She was perfect... RIP Golda. stelpan62

Sheriff Joe Nichols: "It was one of the most horrible things I have experienced,” he said. “While we were trying to restrain the suspects, the dogs just kept on fighting. A woman had her 4- or 5-year-old child there, serving spectators chicken and barbecue.”
“It was one of the saddest things. I didn’t know they fought female dogs. I thought it was mainly males, but this one female dog was in the pit and she was just about dead,” Nichols said.
Nichols added that one of her eyes had been torn out and an ear was missing, among other injuries.
“She drug herself over to the edge of the pit and some of the deputies were petting her.
She just laid there and wagged her tail, not the least bit aggressive to people. Those were probably the first kind pats the dog had ever had. It makes you want to cry.”
That dog was one of the two euthanized at the scene.
dog, not him! Besides, if their dog bite them, they lost the match, therefore, a very angry person that lost his "bet" takes it out on his dog by KILLING it. So only Pit Bulls that would NEVER bite a human were used in breeding stocks. ANY DOG CAN BE DANGEROUS IF NOT PROPERLY TRAINED, SOCIALIZED AND CARED FOR. AGGRESSION IS NOT A STATE OF BEING BUT A NATURAL BEHAVIOR. This being the reason why we even domesticated them in the FIRST place. It just takes managament and responsibilty for a dog.
Ok, alot of people on here haven't a CLUE of what they speak. First off, Pit Bulls were not BRED to kill people, they were BRED to fight dogs. Human aggression and dog aggression are two SEPERATE things. Infact, Pit Bulls are the ONLY dogs bred to NOT bite humans because when being faught in a "pit" the handlers must be able to get close to their dogs, therefore, if a dog bit his master, he was instantly culled, meaning, it was killed. Why? Because the dogmen wanted a dog that would fight the
fuk yea the daschundis mean as fuk i personally hav 2 pit bulls a blu and a red and a weiner dog he is the biggest asshole of all he has bit me & my husband at least 3-4 times when hes been pissed off my pitbulls wouldnt even fathom opening their mouth to me my husband or my kids my its are so good they kno commands like baby or puppy and they will play more gentle ban the deed not the breed!
@AdventursOfGullybear, a chihuahua is more of a threat than a dachshund, people don't care how aggressive they get because they think its small and cute, i'll never forget when i was in a store and the store owner had his pitbull lying beside the counter, and a lady walked in with her chihuahua, talking about how the pitbull is going to bite someone. After this , a little kid started petting the pit, who happily accepted it, and saw the chihuahua, and tried to pet it, but it bit him.
yes friend but this kind of dogs really scary, really need a good trainer to not attack any one or it's owners.. believe me I know this kind so much...
You can always tell a bad pitty cause there usually have there ears trimmed this for fighting purposes. You will find this informtion in any pitbull book. But they are no different to kids. If you show them love thats all they will know. Treat them like shit and there no different to your people in jail or out in the street causing shit. Any human can be aggressive its in our nature too. More people have killed people then pitbulls have attacked people.
@Roxy4217 I have to correct you here. Not all people who crop their Pitties ears fight them. Some people do show their dogs and cropped ears are prefered in the ring. Some people crop ears just because they prefer them to be. Nothing wrong with that. Infact, floppy ears are BECAUSE of human intervention. MOST if not ALL wild animals have erect ears. Even the WOLF. This is so they can better pinpoint sounds that could be predators. And i agree. People are more of a threat than Pit Bulls.
@MASONANDSAM I have to correct you as well. Pit Bulls don't get "angered" easy. They have a trait called "tenacity" which has been bred into them. This is with ALL terriers in general. This means that the dog has a huge zest for life and a high excitabiliy issue. Basically, the dog gets so "riled" up when it plays, see its master, etc. because it is EXCITED. Many mistake this for aggression, but it is NOT.
I have to be honest. I agree with your point 100%, but I don't like how you show other dog breeds as vicious. That's like going against what you're trying to prove, only with other breeds.
@Lindsey2057 I'm glad you agree, but if you read previous comments you would have realised that what I meant was "naturally" Agressive as every breed is naturally agressive as it is in their nature. Every dogs nature, but good ownership reduces that.
The video is very true, any animal can have its behaviour changed. To good or bad. If you use an animal as a working animal then you wont have him playing with kids, but if the animal is loved and treated with respect and has rules (discipline) I dont see any problem. Obviously each animal has its way and temper, not all are the same. When you buy a puppy you can do some tests to see its temperment and choose the right one for the purpose you have, work dog or family dog.
Pitbulls are purpose bred for one thing,Horses for Courses, puttin' ya' kids near and leavin' them alone with, is out of the question, those that do,are playing with their child's welfare. And to be controversial, any one that owns one that is not using it for what it was intended, suffers from little dick syndrome, inferiority complex, lack of self worth and low self esteem, take it or leave it, and pardon the pun..But one day your PB will cause a problem that will bite you on the arse. lock it up.
@Wallabytrack i own 2 wonderful pit bulls and i am not what i guess YOU would consider a typical pit bull owner. I am highly educated, small in stature yet no self esteem issues, i have no inferiority complex, and no lack of self worth. i have however trained dogs for more than 17 years and have socialized my dogs too. My dogs have never been considered a threat to anyone or any other animal and i am working toward making them ambassadors of their breed sorry but i have to disagree with you.
@candihu Goodonya' I hope you never have any trouble with either of them, but I think you get my drift. I just don't trust them, they are no good on the land, they harass
and kill wildlife.livestock and such.Live and let live.but not in my neck of the woods.
@Wallabytrack it's funny that you mention livestock. I live near a cow farm and have had cows loose in my yard (smaller ones not grown yet) and my female pit is scared of them and hides in her dog house. my cat (weighs about 7 lbs i guess) and the cat stalks the cows and chases them off. it is so funny. cows get loose in our yard sometimes not too often but the cat scares them away lol. the dogs just look at them and lay back down
@candihu That's great,if the cows stray it's the owners problem, I like to cover all bases, nothing strays from my place exept the 600 or so roo's that use my place as a shortcut back to the forrest and surrounds.Any stray dogs are subject to an accelerated post mortem by the farmers.
it all depends on the education that you give to your dog and you have to make it to be with other people and other dogs to not t omake him agresive i have a pit bull right now and he loves to play with other small dogs and with his litle bro: a 6 month husky
I don't watch TV. Network TV shows and news are nothing but lies and garbage. However, I have a tremendous amount of experience working with, keeping, breeding and training dogs. I love dogs but I don't anthropomorphise them and I'm not sentimental about them. Pittbulls are psychotic, unstable and kill on a regular basis. Other dogs may bite but these creatures kill. One American every 17 days according to some reports. There are over 441 breeds of dog in the world. Why keep these? They kill.
@RAIDERS58th speaking as a pit bull owner i would like to answer this question. i have 2 very well trained pit bulls. i like the dogs cause they are silly, funny, loving, loyal, devoted, curious and very misunderstood as well. i have trained many differet breeds of dogs and have found the pit bull the easiest to train because it seems as though they TRY really hard to please people.
@RAIDERS58th in NC a child was killed by a dalmation, another was killed by a german shepard. are you telling me that these dogs are even tempered and not psychotic? pit bulls are not unstable. if you have this opinion perhaps you should check out law dogs usa dot org. they don't share your opinion any more than i do. i believe they are more even tempered and willing to please than most other breeds. i have trained dogs for over 17 years, so i do have a little experience.
Thank you for this video. I agree wholeheartedly that these beautiful animals have their bad reputation because of the ignorance and stupidity of humans. It is amazing to see how many of these ignorant people thought my AST was beautiful and friendly but the second you mention the "P" word it's as if he had brought a plague. I have another PB mix(ed with retard) and will never own another breed of dog. I respect them more than most humans.
So... because cigarettes, cars, and alchohol kill people that excuses the murderous impulses and deaths caused by your chosen breed? Are you serious or high? Those things, for better or worse, are part of the price we all pay for living in a technologically driven, civilized society. However, a vicious mindless animal bred for a sport (bull baiting) that was outlawed, god knows how long ago, is something a civilized society doesn't need and has the power to put an end to. Idiot!
Mid Year Results: U.S. Dog Bite Fatalities from January 1 to July 22, 2010
Pit Bulls Killed 67%
DogsBite.org - Of the 18 fatal dog attacks recorded by DogsBite.org so far in 2010, pit bull type dogs contributed to 67% (12). This is equivalent to a pit bull killing a U.S. citizen every 17 days during this 203-day period. 83% (10) of these incidents involved a family pit bull killing a family member. The second leading dog breed to kill a U.S. citizen in 2010 is the rottweiler,
@RAIDERS58th Pit bull type ?? mmmm well then whats the percentage of "Pit Bull type" in the US ? cause if you start to put a bunch of different breed into a type .... well obviosly they are gonna be a lot of them ... remind me also the number per day caused by alcool , cigarettes and car accident ??? seams to me that those things will still legal and easy to get for a while.... Ban the "pit bulls" is not an answer
@MrTahiti92 Furthermore, unless one of my posts has been removed, I don't remember using the word "type". And why don't you just tell us all who runs dogsbite.org and stop being so fucking melodramatic. Idiot!
@RAIDERS58th you clearly never have the chance to meet or know a american pitbull terrier cause you would realize you don't make sense at all and don't know anything about dogs .sadly havin to have to do your work dogsbite is runed by Colleen Lynn unfortunatly victim of an attack by a dog and it's understandable but she obviosly doesnt have a neutral opinion an that.ho btw you dont remember using "pit bull type" ?? happens when you copy and paste shit you dont even understand or remember.
@MrTahiti92 Sir, when you learn what I've forgotten about the care, breeding, rearing and training of dogs; get back to me. Furtheremore, please allow me to circumvent your feeble attempt at obfuscation and strawman and return to the heart of the matter. Answer this: How do you justify the REGULAR deaths of children as young as 5 DAYS OLD just because you wan't keep/own and favour a particular breed of dog? Any breed of dog! Let alone stinking pittbulls! Justify it! Go on! I dare you!
@RAIDERS58th you do realize news anchors pick which stories they want to broadcast right?they do it to get a rise out of people it's never golden retriever attacks and whenever (though rare) a american pit bull terrier nips or bites some one regardless of age it always turns into "pit bull mauls child in backyard" dont tell me your as ignorant as the news anchors that report that nonsense because from your vocabulary you sound like at least a person with the ability to carry on a conversation :]
@mandyblahblah Bad owners make bad dogs. However, bad owners (98% of dog owners if you ask me) make already unstable and psychotic dogs like pittbulls into nothing short of killing machines. No one, abolutely no one should have to die every 17 days just so that a certain group of people can keep a certain breed of dog. NO ONE! Let alone 5 DAY OLD BABIES! How on Earth can anyone justify such a thing? How? Rotts and pittbulls are minority "biters" but cause 100% of fatal attacks in the US. 100%!
@RAIDERS58th pit bulls are unstable and psychotic? wow that's news to me. maybe you should let the guys at law dogs dot org know that cause they say that they have trained many different dogs for law enforcement and pit bulls have the most stable temperments for being around people at shows and stuff. just a little something to think about
@TheDomsta1119 actually that's not tue. with mine all i have to say is "break" and they let go or stop whatever they are doing and come and stand @ my side.
@TheDomsta1119 actually they are trained to release on command. german shepards have been used frequently in the past but they don't have the stable temperment that the pit bulls have
@candihu It doesnt matter. they attack and do not let go, they actually have a bone sturcture and mind mechanism that prevents them form letting go untill the person stops moving or they are called back, which takes EXTREME training to get the to stop. also they are very strong dogs which allows them to climb over metal and wooden fences, which is another reason they are so dangerous. i do agreee they can be trained well, but no matter what they still do the most damage of any dog when attacking
@TheDomsta1119 so you would say that pits are more dangerous than say dalmations or german shepards? as for their mind set they are very tenacious dogs. they wills tick with a task till it is completed however they also want so badly to pease their masters that they will do whatever the master wants them to do. i have called mine off once when another dog tried to attack me and then attacked him (my male pit) as soon as i said break he let go and came to me
@candihu look. like i have said before. they can be trained very well, just as good as most dogs, maybe better. nut the thing is, they are by far more dangerous that any other dog. fact.
@candihu okay. look. i didnt want to bring this up, but i was malled by a pitbull when i was 10. it tore my face to the bone, my arm to the bone, and severed my femoral artery. i spent 3 days in the ICU, 17 days in johns hopkins, and 7 months in physical therapy, and im 14 today. its my bday. im still not fully recovered. wheen i was at johns hopkin, they said that pit bulls were the only dogs that BREAK BONES when they attack, they get 1 or 2 pit attacks a month, and JHU is a trauma hospital.
@TheDomsta1119 i'm really sorry to hear that you were attacked it is pathetic that a dog owner would allow its dog to do that. but pit bulls are not the only ones that can break bones. in children, any mid to large sized dog can break bones with it's teeth or bite pressure. whoever told you that only pits can break bones with bite pressure sorry to say it but they lied.
@TheDomsta1119 you actually think that a pit bull is stronger than a great dane? or are you talking bite force? still wrong. pits do not have the strongest bite force of any dog either. many dogs have killed kids. it's sad but true. in NC a german shepard killed a little boy, and a dalmation killed (nearly decapitated) a little girl. and these are facts. not supposition
@candihu are u kidding me? pit bulls are the strongest breed of dog, great danes are just big. especially bite force, u must be retarded if ur going to pretend like pits dont have the strongest bite force. and u bringing up facts about other dogs means nothing. get this thru ur thick skull... I AM NOT SAYING THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY DANGEROUS DOG, IM SAYING THEY R THE MOST DANGEROUS. pit bulls have killed grown men and break and eat their bones while theyre at it. thats a fact too
@TheDomsta1119 please lead me to where you got your "facts" about pits having the STRONGEST bite force. many people don't understand and believe all the media hype about pit bulls. they are tenacious, yes. but they are not the strongest dogs out there. saint brenards are stronger and have been used as search and rescue just like pits.
@candihu i dont need to have a source, i have personal experiance. i almost lost my frekin leg. great danes do not attack as much as pits do, sure, some may be stronger than pits, and some are weaker. but the fact of the matter is that pits are bred to attack, and its too late to change that. their instinct is to kill, not bite.
@candihu and also, since killing and fighting has been bred in theyre blood so much, they r triggered very easy to attack. even if they r trained very well with a loving family, they still have that instinct and are still very very dangerous.
@TheDomsta1119 actually over the years it has been bred out of them. there are some back yard breeders who breed cause the puppies will be pretty but this is irresponsible. because it is more important to breed for temperment.
@TheDomsta1119 a police dog can only be an officer if their handler can tell them to release and they listen. sorry but that is fact. if a police dog won't let go of a criminal then they are not used as a police dog
@RAIDERS58th didnt know there was a day limit to when a certain amount of people can die and its not a "certain group" of people a majority of america owns pits, pit mixes and staffies and more and more people are realizing how stupid all the myths were i apologize if you have not yet either owned one or have never spent time with one they truly are one of the most loyal breed of dogs out there p.s( i thank you for staying sane in this conversation instead of being a complete ignorant being )
@RAIDERS58th and may i just add they aren't unstable and psychotic everybody and every creature is a blank slate what you make or let others make of you is the most important factor we have a choice dogs or any creature for that matter has no choice they'll do anything as long as we're happy
I have a Staffy Terrier (1yr old in the UK) which is very simlar to a pitt bull, and I'm very worried that is will lick me or others into fits and giggles LOL, honestly tho, it's the best dog I have ever had, it looks very much like the white one with the little boy sitting on it in your video, the only thing I would say is these dogs can be very stubben and a bit boystruss sometimes if you let them, but over all, these dogs are great family pet members, love em.
so very true.. i have two pitbulls.. a 1 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old.. they are the most adorable, loving, playful doggies ever.. never once have the bitten anyone.. and i agree, the dog is not the problem, the problem is the owner, who should raise his/her dog to be loving and not agressive.. great video by the way..
Nice video.I respect that but no matter how much we put it out there some ppl are jus too ignorant to see the truth and have no capacity to take it into there heads...keep up the good work
I agree with this video, although you dont even have to train them just let them be a dog.. i have a pit and have not trained him nor has anyone else and im beginning to wonder if a killer walks in my house and beats me would he do anything, yes hes hyper and loves to play but hes no mean dog, as a matter of fact hes laying right beside me on the couch ASLEEP with a ball in his mouth.... really, thats what i call a dangerous dog! sarcasm
@sabrinaphillips3 make no mistake. the pit bulls are the most loving, loyal, devoted dogs there are. but DO NOT underestimate your dog if someone broke into your house and put your life in danger your dog would be worse than a hound from hell. lol i learned this when a stray tried to attack me. the important thing to remember is that a dog taught to attack and break on command is a dog that can be stopped from killing.
Love the vid. I have to agree never had a pit before, but since Rock, I will never go back. We adopted Rock on death row, he was a return. They said he didn't get along with other animals. He loves our cat, and gets along with other dogs splendedly. It was the severe allergies that he suffered from. 1800.00 in one week to figure this out they didn't want him and almost sent him to his doom. Its not the dog, its the owners. Love my biggest baby!
My son had a Pit Bull, Max, sweet baby. I can say that yes, Dachshunds can be aggressive, I have Dachshunds and I can say that if some one comes over the fence out back they will be out the dogie door and all over them in a blink, but come in the right way and the most they get is a bark.
Then there was Brandie, my Pit, I miss her, lost to cancer. She was my buddy from 91-05 and not a mean bone in her body. Any dog can be a bad dog, I think any can be good.
I saw a sweet-heart male pit bull in the humane society, I wanted badly to save him. He was in there a month already with a record of nothing but excellent behavior. Unfortunately, in CO there's a state-wide BSL banning pit bulls, dobermans, rottweilers, etc. from all apartments. They also made it difficult to meet requirements to even be considered for adopting a pit bull from the humane society. But I won't rest until I give one of these great dogs a loving home. :)
In most the areas i have been the animals all have a week to get a home or its death, but in OK they are allowed to kill a pit on site if it is unleashed or looks aggresive. pathetic huh? im sorry anyone shoots my baby im kickin there @ss regardless of who they are.
@kissthis2007 yeah it's like this "forget the dog beware of the owner lol hurt my babies and you have to eal with me and i am a hellcat if pissed off lol
I agree any dog can be a dangerouse dog, i personaly own a dogue de bordeaux but hate the way people cross the street to avoid us, living in the uk pitbulls are banned over here and i think its wrong! Id love to own a pitbull but there are i minority of idiots who buy these dogs for status and fighting!!!!
I have a 5 year old pit bull, shes gorgeous. she has attacked 3 times, each one for a reason. My stepfather attacked my mom, she bit his hand but let go as soon as she was told to, someone broke into our home she didnt bite but she chased him outside the house and down the road, the third time was someone breaking into our garage when she was in it.
she is extremely loving and sweet but she protects us cause we protect and take care of her.
The only time I have EVER seen my pit be hostile toward anyone is when my nieces and nephew were outside and the meter reader came into the yard. This was not a act of aggression, but a act defensive for my nieces and nephew. They are the most loyal, loving dog I have ever owned and put the lives of the ones they love before their own. I love my pit.
my grandma found a dog it grow but one day it passed away then my uncle had a dog it was to big he dint have place to put her so i wanted it we toke it to the vet and it was a american pitbull i fell in love whit this breed they respect u now every day i play whit her i make races whit her she always bets me lol
I have a beautiful Female Pitbull. The reputation these dogs have recieved.( through no fault of their own) have made it difficult everyone that owns these dogs. I have never owned a more gentle, fun, loving dog than my pitbull. The only thing she has grabed ahold and wont let go of........................is My Heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jackieb59
so true!!!!!!! my daughter and nephew grew up with a pitbull that only got aggressive with squirrels. it even listened to commands that i taught them for the dog. daughter 6 yrs old nephew 2yrs old koko the pit 3 yrs old
Pit bulls are amazing dogs ...my lil brother and sister play with my grandmas pit as if was a stuffed animal...and never onced showed teeth to them.....bad owners make bad dogs
i've had chow chow my whole life and just got a pit about 6 months ago with my chow chow and he is the most loving and loyal dog i've ever owned i think everyone should own a pit.....love ya rudy!!!!
I think what they meant is dachshund's have the most natural aggressive tendincies toward humans. Just like SOME pitbulls have natural animal aggression depending on your breeder, but if you have a proper, educated owner none of these things are ever a factor. But I love this video...
My parents had 3 pitbulls when I was born and it was the best time of my life. Adorable, nice and gentle trio... I loved them. They're dead now cause they were old. (dogs, not parents) and I'm wondering about new pitbull puppy.
I've been around numerous pit bulls who have all had terrific demeanor and were absolute sweetie's. The only thing that makes them so easily turned into "killers" is because they are actually so vulnerable. Pit bulls are so innocent at heart. My mom had a chihuahua and that damn thing bit me all the time. But no one would ever put him to sleep, or ban him from an apartment complex. People are ignorant in their understanding of Pit Bulls.
Average number of poeple killed every year by... cigarettes 440,000, automobiles 42,366, 2nd hand smoke 35,000, guns 29,338, pit bulls 3. Which would you ban?
@MaddiesMusic for damn sure if I saw a gun walkin around killin people I definatly would want those banned, like the pitbull a gun is as dangerous as its owner, dont throw gun deaths up on this comment board when you obviously have your head so far up your ass you smell dinner, idiot...
@MaddiesMusic Very good point.but they will never ban anything that makes the government so much tax money regardless of how many people are killed because of it,you have hit the nail on the head there
Yep. Its true. Chihuahuas can be pretty mean, I even got bite by my best pal on my ear, It draled blood, but at leats i dont have to get a perce there, I could just put one in!
I hate the bad rep pitbulls have. My ex girlfriend has a pitbull & he was the nicest dogs I have ever met. before he got use to me he was more afraid of me than I was of it. now she also had pomeranian. that thing was mean as hell. there was so many times i wanted to punt that fucker out the window. he would bite me after i got off work at Chili's. i think he could smell the meat or something...that little shit ultimately lead to our break up. >.>
this video is the truth, i have a 5 year old fawn who wouldn't hurt a fly, well maybe a fly but nothing else, i also agree w./ you on jsouja1's comment that is nothing at all to brag about. a true piity owner never teaches their pit to attack anything but a rope.
i have a pitty she is nearly 2 yrs and i have a 5 yr old daughter i also have a cat. cleo my pitty is the best dog ever, i trust her with my daughter completly and the cat and her are best of friends. when i walk her she never goes 4 other dogs even if they r going 4 her. They r a very proud breed and im proud 2 b an owner of 1
Dogs don't need to be taught to protect their owners jsouja. It's already ingrained in their genes. Dachsunds can't will not tear off a huge peice of flesh or kill a child if it "goes off".
Have to agree with the agressive Dachsund comments. My dad has 3, and they are the most vicious little monsters you've ever seen. One of the routes I walk my PitBull takes me past a fenced yard where four Dachs rush the fence barking and baring teeth. WALK YOUR APBT IN PUBLIC AND INTRODUCE MORE PEOPLE TO THIS GREAT BREED. Or, as the Irish call them, The Old Family Dog.
Watch pit bull vs gun!!! stop banning pit bulls !!!! help our fight!!! shane o mac'n talks about why he thinks it stupid to stop a breed of dog but not make less guns??? dont guns kill more???
@arniebarb123 It's not so much the race but the poor areas that glorify being hard cor and gangster, any race would do the same thing given the same living environment. From a uneducated perspective I do see your point. I have seen back yard type of dog shows, where all the dogs are aggressive and uncharacteristic of the pit-bull bread as well as the people being a bunch of thug fags that want a dog as a extension of their own ego.
@TheArmChairAthlete anyone who has to get a pit or rott just to show how "badass" they are, is a pathetic human. i'm 5'4" and weigh 115 lbs and let me tell you i am more than badass i don't need a dog to look tough lol. forget the dog beware of the owner lol
@candihu To a point I agree, yet people that get dogs to make themself look bad ass, are usually trying very hard and are willing to do things to prove it. Making anyone who is willing to do bad things "bad ass". Being bad ass is only a compensation for something. May it be a bad living enviornment where a person has to act this way in order not to get steped on, or some one smaller that has to make up for the lack of respect they are shown. I could say more, but im sure I am already boring you.
@TheArmChairAthlete lol you aren't boring me. I was a psych major in college so i know what you mean. when i say i am badass without my dogs it's similar to state of mind. many people have tried to start crap with me when i was younger (intimidation and tactics such as this. and many times i have had to fight or end up seriously hurt (when i was younger). my dogs aren't mean or a status symbol. many people who use them to appear tough feel inferior and need the dog to look tough. i'm not one.
@candihu I really like your responce. I never majored in psych, but i have done a lot of work in the feild. I even have a book comming out that is putting psych in a way everyone can understand and relate to. I also found myself in trouble as a child, mainly because i would not stand for smaller people being picked on. it is sad how our "intelegent" population can still act like cave men and pick on those who are seen as weeker. The mind can be far more powerfull than the body.
@TheArmChairAthlete you will have to send me the title of your book and let me know when it comes out i would love to read it. the sad thing about most people who pick on others is that they themsleves feel weak and they pick on others to make themselves appear stronger to others. it's sad because they have to put others down to make themselves appear superior. i think it's really sad. i didn't get in much trouble as a kid but i was always considered smaller but never appeard weaker lol
@candihu All very true. like the man who beats his wife. the man may feel week and pushed around. to make himself feel "better" more powerfull, he beats on something or some one who cant defend themself. most people have no idea what they are doing, even more so when it is children who are bullying at school. the title of my book i currently "overcomming your programming, my journy to happiness peace and success" im looking for a more atractive name at the moment.
I really love this video. There are soooo many ppl who decriminate on therse dogs bc they say it is their nature to attack but truth b told the dog they have can also be aggessive and attack someone also I believe this video really gets the point across to ppl for them not to think this way about them. Tnankyou for posting this n I hope that more ppl will watch this vid. :)
i have a 5 month old red nose pitbull and that dog is the most loving dog i have ever had.... recently i have seen one the news that in LA there are people that have wolfs as pets and i dont think that is fair because Wolfs are wild animals and they are very dangerous... so if they let people have wolfs as pets i dont get why they dont let people have pitbulls as pets
this video made me cry. i have a two year old pitbull named Savannah who is great with everyone...children included. and she is wonderful with other dogs. i cant stand being away from her, she goes everywhere with me, and everyone loves her. i dont know what id do without her.
@Fersomling yep and i believe it was canada that had 150 dog bites each year so they decided to ban pit bulls. one year after the bad took affect the # of dog bites was 150. hmmmmmmm you think they got the picture that it wasn't pits doing the damage lol
THANK YOU i love pit bulls i have one but if i had my choice i would go to the end of the world to get and and love every pit bull i see and the one i have her name is tango and she is a pit bull and i love her to death

i do agree that owners are PART to blame. EVERY time. The owners are not always bad either
ilovemoviesuk 3 months ago
@ilovemoviesuk Their aggression is focused on animals not people dude. People have more natural aggression than these dogs and thats for certain.

i guess , when a healthy pitbull is in healty hands you have yourself one of the best dog you can have.
this is my opinion , and there are off course plenty other good breeds .

RIP Golda. stelpan62

1/19/2004 Jones County (Georgia)
Sheriff Joe Nichols: "It was one of the most horrible things I have experienced,” he said. “While we were trying to restrain the suspects, the dogs just kept on fighting. A woman had her 4- or 5-year-old child there, serving spectators chicken and barbecue.”
“It was one of the saddest things. I didn’t know they fought female dogs. I thought it was mainly males, but this one female dog was in the pit and she was just about dead,” Nichols said.

AUSSIEDAVEROCKS 1 year ago
Nichols added that one of her eyes had been torn out and an ear was missing, among other injuries.
“She drug herself over to the edge of the pit and some of the deputies were petting her.
She just laid there and wagged her tail, not the least bit aggressive to people. Those were probably the first kind pats the dog had ever had. It makes you want to cry.”
That dog was one of the two euthanized at the scene.
AUSSIEDAVEROCKS 1 year ago
dog, not him!
GoddesssOfDarknesss 1 year ago
Ok, alot of people on here haven't a CLUE of what they speak. First off, Pit Bulls were not BRED to kill people, they were BRED to fight dogs. Human aggression and dog aggression are two SEPERATE things. Infact, Pit Bulls are the ONLY dogs bred to NOT bite humans because when being faught in a "pit" the handlers must be able to get close to their dogs, therefore, if a dog bit his master, he was instantly culled, meaning, it was killed. Why? Because the dogmen wanted a dog that would fight the

Roxy4217 1 year ago
@Roxy4217 I have to correct you here. Not all people who crop their Pitties ears fight them. Some people do show their dogs and cropped ears are prefered in the ring. Some people crop ears just because they prefer them to be. Nothing wrong with that. Infact, floppy ears are BECAUSE of human intervention. MOST if not ALL wild animals have erect ears. Even the WOLF. This is so they can better pinpoint sounds that could be predators. And i agree. People are more of a threat than Pit Bulls.
GoddesssOfDarknesss 1 year ago
Pitbulls are not mean. They get angered easily. The whole Micheal Vick thing started this.
MASONANDSAM 1 year ago
@MASONANDSAM I have to correct you as well. Pit Bulls don't get "angered" easy. They have a trait called "tenacity" which has been bred into them. This is with ALL terriers in general. This means that the dog has a huge zest for life and a high excitabiliy issue. Basically, the dog gets so "riled" up when it plays, see its master, etc. because it is EXCITED. Many mistake this for aggression, but it is NOT.
GoddesssOfDarknesss 1 year ago
I have to be honest. I agree with your point 100%, but I don't like how you show other dog breeds as vicious. That's like going against what you're trying to prove, only with other breeds.
Lindsey2057 1 year ago
@Lindsey2057 I'm glad you agree, but if you read previous comments you would have realised that what I meant was "naturally" Agressive as every breed is naturally agressive as it is in their nature. Every dogs nature, but good ownership reduces that.
vivienne01 1 year ago
@vivienne01 Ok, my mistake then. I'm sorry.
Lindsey2057 1 year ago
The video is very true, any animal can have its behaviour changed. To good or bad. If you use an animal as a working animal then you wont have him playing with kids, but if the animal is loved and treated with respect and has rules (discipline) I dont see any problem. Obviously each animal has its way and temper, not all are the same. When you buy a puppy you can do some tests to see its temperment and choose the right one for the purpose you have, work dog or family dog.
robertturismo 1 year ago
Pitbulls are purpose bred for one thing,Horses for Courses, puttin' ya' kids near and leavin' them alone with, is out of the question, those that do,are playing with their child's welfare. And to be controversial, any one that owns one that is not using it for what it was intended, suffers from little dick syndrome, inferiority complex, lack of self worth and low self esteem, take it or leave it, and pardon the pun..But one day your PB will cause a problem that will bite you on the arse. lock it up.

My dogs have never been considered a threat to anyone or any other animal and i am working toward making them ambassadors of their breed sorry but i have to disagree with you.

@Wallabytrack it's funny that you mention livestock. I live near a cow farm and have had cows loose in my yard (smaller ones not grown yet) and my female pit is scared of them and hides in her dog house. my cat (weighs about 7 lbs i guess) and the cat stalks the cows and chases them off. it is so funny. cows get loose in our yard sometimes not too often but the cat scares them away lol. the dogs just look at them and lay back down
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu That's great,if the cows stray it's the owners problem, I like to cover all bases, nothing strays from my place exept the 600 or so roo's that use my place as a shortcut back to the forrest and surrounds.Any stray dogs are subject to an accelerated post mortem by the farmers.

They kill.
RAIDERS58th 1 year ago
@RAIDERS58th speaking as a pit bull owner i would like to answer this question. i have 2 very well trained pit bulls. i like the dogs cause they are silly, funny, loving, loyal, devoted, curious and very misunderstood as well. i have trained many differet breeds of dogs and have found the pit bull the easiest to train because it seems as though they TRY really hard to please people.
candihu 1 year ago
@RAIDERS58th in NC a child was killed by a dalmation, another was killed by a german shepard. are you telling me that these dogs are even tempered and not psychotic? pit bulls are not unstable. if you have this opinion perhaps you should check out law dogs usa dot org. they don't share your opinion any more than i do. i believe they are more even tempered and willing to please than most other breeds. i have trained dogs for over 17 years, so i do have a little experience.

Those things, for better or worse, are part of the price we all pay for living in a technologically driven, civilized society. However, a vicious mindless animal bred for a sport (bull baiting) that was outlawed, god knows how long ago, is something a civilized society doesn't need and has the power to put an end to. Idiot!

Justify it! Go on! I dare you!
RAIDERS58th 1 year ago
@RAIDERS58th you do realize news anchors pick which stories they want to broadcast right?they do it to get a rise out of people it's never golden retriever attacks and whenever (though rare) a american pit bull terrier nips or bites some one regardless of age it always turns into "pit bull mauls child in backyard" dont tell me your as ignorant as the news anchors that report that nonsense because from your vocabulary you sound like at least a person with the ability to carry on a conversation :]
mandyblahblah 1 year ago
@mandyblahblah Bad owners make bad dogs. However, bad owners (98% of dog owners if you ask me) make already unstable and psychotic dogs like pittbulls into nothing short of killing machines. No one, abolutely no one should have to die every 17 days just so that a certain group of people can keep a certain breed of dog. NO ONE! Let alone 5 DAY OLD BABIES! How on Earth can anyone justify such a thing? How? Rotts and pittbulls are minority "biters" but cause 100% of fatal attacks in the US. 100%!
RAIDERS58th 1 year ago
@RAIDERS58th pit bulls are unstable and psychotic? wow that's news to me. maybe you should let the guys at law dogs dot org know that cause they say that they have trained many different dogs for law enforcement and pit bulls have the most stable temperments for being around people at shows and stuff. just a little something to think about
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu why do u think they trained pitbulls for police dogs? because they dont let go when they attack so the bad guy cant run away.
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 actually that's not tue. with mine all i have to say is "break" and they let go or stop whatever they are doing and come and stand @ my side.
candihu 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 actually they are trained to release on command. german shepards have been used frequently in the past but they don't have the stable temperment that the pit bulls have
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu It doesnt matter. they attack and do not let go, they actually have a bone sturcture and mind mechanism that prevents them form letting go untill the person stops moving or they are called back, which takes EXTREME training to get the to stop. also they are very strong dogs which allows them to climb over metal and wooden fences, which is another reason they are so dangerous. i do agreee they can be trained well, but no matter what they still do the most damage of any dog when attacking
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 so you would say that pits are more dangerous than say dalmations or german shepards? as for their mind set they are very tenacious dogs. they wills tick with a task till it is completed however they also want so badly to pease their masters that they will do whatever the master wants them to do. i have called mine off once when another dog tried to attack me and then attacked him (my male pit) as soon as i said break he let go and came to me
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu look. like i have said before. they can be trained very well, just as good as most dogs, maybe better. nut the thing is, they are by far more dangerous that any other dog. fact.
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 please tell me where you got this "fact" from? cause i have done a lot of research and have yet to find this so called fact.
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu okay. look. i didnt want to bring this up, but i was malled by a pitbull when i was 10. it tore my face to the bone, my arm to the bone, and severed my femoral artery. i spent 3 days in the ICU, 17 days in johns hopkins, and 7 months in physical therapy, and im 14 today. its my bday. im still not fully recovered. wheen i was at johns hopkin, they said that pit bulls were the only dogs that BREAK BONES when they attack, they get 1 or 2 pit attacks a month, and JHU is a trauma hospital.
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 i'm really sorry to hear that you were attacked it is pathetic that a dog owner would allow its dog to do that. but pit bulls are not the only ones that can break bones. in children, any mid to large sized dog can break bones with it's teeth or bite pressure. whoever told you that only pits can break bones with bite pressure sorry to say it but they lied.
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu im not talking about just in children, in adults too. you cannot deny that these dogs are the strongest of any, do u deny that?
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 you actually think that a pit bull is stronger than a great dane? or are you talking bite force? still wrong. pits do not have the strongest bite force of any dog either. many dogs have killed kids. it's sad but true. in NC a german shepard killed a little boy, and a dalmation killed (nearly decapitated) a little girl. and these are facts. not supposition
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu are u kidding me? pit bulls are the strongest breed of dog, great danes are just big. especially bite force, u must be retarded if ur going to pretend like pits dont have the strongest bite force. and u bringing up facts about other dogs means nothing. get this thru ur thick skull... I AM NOT SAYING THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY DANGEROUS DOG, IM SAYING THEY R THE MOST DANGEROUS. pit bulls have killed grown men and break and eat their bones while theyre at it. thats a fact too
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 please lead me to where you got your "facts" about pits having the STRONGEST bite force. many people don't understand and believe all the media hype about pit bulls. they are tenacious, yes. but they are not the strongest dogs out there. saint brenards are stronger and have been used as search and rescue just like pits.
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu i dont need to have a source, i have personal experiance. i almost lost my frekin leg. great danes do not attack as much as pits do, sure, some may be stronger than pits, and some are weaker. but the fact of the matter is that pits are bred to attack, and its too late to change that. their instinct is to kill, not bite.
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@candihu and also, since killing and fighting has been bred in theyre blood so much, they r triggered very easy to attack. even if they r trained very well with a loving family, they still have that instinct and are still very very dangerous.
TheDomsta1119 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 actually over the years it has been bred out of them. there are some back yard breeders who breed cause the puppies will be pretty but this is irresponsible. because it is more important to breed for temperment.
candihu 1 year ago
@TheDomsta1119 a police dog can only be an officer if their handler can tell them to release and they listen. sorry but that is fact. if a police dog won't let go of a criminal then they are not used as a police dog

so very true.. i have two pitbulls.. a 1 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old.. they are the most adorable, loving, playful doggies ever.. never once have the bitten anyone.. and i agree, the dog is not the problem, the problem is the owner, who should raise his/her dog to be loving and not agressive.. great video by the way..

I agree with this video, although you dont even have to train them just let them be a dog.. i have a pit and have not trained him nor has anyone else and im beginning to wonder if a killer walks in my house and beats me would he do anything, yes hes hyper and loves to play but hes no mean dog, as a matter of fact hes laying right beside me on the couch ASLEEP with a ball in his mouth.... really, thats what i call a dangerous dog! sarcasm
sabrinaphillips3 1 year ago

Love my biggest baby!
tiggerms2 1 year ago
My son had a Pit Bull, Max, sweet baby. I can say that yes, Dachshunds can be aggressive, I have Dachshunds and I can say that if some one comes over the fence out back they will be out the dogie door and all over them in a blink, but come in the right way and the most they get is a bark.
Then there was Brandie, my Pit, I miss her, lost to cancer. She was my buddy from 91-05 and not a mean bone in her body. Any dog can be a bad dog, I think any can be good.

Great video :)

I ♥ Pits!
kissthis2007 1 year ago
The only time I have EVER seen my pit be hostile toward anyone is when my nieces and nephew were outside and the meter reader came into the yard. This was not a act of aggression, but a act defensive for my nieces and nephew. They are the most loyal, loving dog I have ever owned and put the lives of the ones they love before their own. I love my pit.

I hate the bad rep pitbulls have. My ex girlfriend has a pitbull & he was the nicest dogs I have ever met. before he got use to me he was more afraid of me than I was of it. now she also had pomeranian. that thing was mean as hell. there was so many times i wanted to punt that fucker out the window. he would bite me after i got off work at Chili's. i think he could smell the meat or something...that little shit ultimately lead to our break up. >.>

Or, as the Irish call them, The Old Family Dog.

arniebarb123 1 year ago
@arniebarb123 It's not so much the race but the poor areas that glorify being hard cor and gangster, any race would do the same thing given the same living environment. From a uneducated perspective I do see your point. I have seen back yard type of dog shows, where all the dogs are aggressive and uncharacteristic of the pit-bull bread as well as the people being a bunch of thug fags that want a dog as a extension of their own ego.
TheArmChairAthlete 1 year ago
@TheArmChairAthlete anyone who has to get a pit or rott just to show how "badass" they are, is a pathetic human. i'm 5'4" and weigh 115 lbs and let me tell you i am more than badass i don't need a dog to look tough lol. forget the dog beware of the owner lol
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu To a point I agree, yet people that get dogs to make themself look bad ass, are usually trying very hard and are willing to do things to prove it. Making anyone who is willing to do bad things "bad ass". Being bad ass is only a compensation for something. May it be a bad living enviornment where a person has to act this way in order not to get steped on, or some one smaller that has to make up for the lack of respect they are shown. I could say more, but im sure I am already boring you.
TheArmChairAthlete 1 year ago
@TheArmChairAthlete lol you aren't boring me. I was a psych major in college so i know what you mean. when i say i am badass without my dogs it's similar to state of mind. many people have tried to start crap with me when i was younger (intimidation and tactics such as this. and many times i have had to fight or end up seriously hurt (when i was younger). my dogs aren't mean or a status symbol. many people who use them to appear tough feel inferior and need the dog to look tough. i'm not one.
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu I really like your responce. I never majored in psych, but i have done a lot of work in the feild. I even have a book comming out that is putting psych in a way everyone can understand and relate to. I also found myself in trouble as a child, mainly because i would not stand for smaller people being picked on. it is sad how our "intelegent" population can still act like cave men and pick on those who are seen as weeker. The mind can be far more powerfull than the body.
TheArmChairAthlete 1 year ago
@TheArmChairAthlete you will have to send me the title of your book and let me know when it comes out i would love to read it. the sad thing about most people who pick on others is that they themsleves feel weak and they pick on others to make themselves appear stronger to others. it's sad because they have to put others down to make themselves appear superior. i think it's really sad. i didn't get in much trouble as a kid but i was always considered smaller but never appeard weaker lol
candihu 1 year ago
@candihu All very true. like the man who beats his wife. the man may feel week and pushed around. to make himself feel "better" more powerfull, he beats on something or some one who cant defend themself. most people have no idea what they are doing, even more so when it is children who are bullying at school. the title of my book i currently "overcomming your programming, my journy to happiness peace and success" im looking for a more atractive name at the moment.
