What it was is, SEGA, realized they were being criticized for making original stories and game play like this with swords, etc. That they realized, the only way to satisfy critic nerdy idiots in America, is to use levels from previous games. I'M NOT SAYING THAT'S BAD! Sonic Generations is real fun, but I like games like this where it's slighly original and different from any other game.
