They were punk back when they were poor and unpopular but given the opportunity to sign with major labels they sell out which is completely against real punk antics. Technically the style is still punk but it's deemed pop punk because it's popular mainstream music once they sign with major labels.

oh yea so many sick bands out there that play ska but also blend with tons of other music like passafire, the cat empire, operation ivy, common rider, Giant panda guerilla dub squad (more reggae dub), murphy's kids, fatter than albert, the fad and lots of others. you should look up the record companies of the bands you like and you'll find lots of AWESOME bands
