Computers from the past are really build with speed. Those machines can run Windows XP. I got a 4010CDS. Now the machines are really vurnable to virusses. That's why I'm still using my 4010CDS. It has a wireless lan card.

i got a toshiba tecra 510cdt .. unfortunately the lcd screen broke but it still works with an external screen :D

it did come with win 95 or 98, and it has got a 2gb harddisk.

at the moment I got MS GLaDos on it

@lucasehugo01 if memory serves me correctly, the 220cs has its memory under the wrist rest area and the 300cds memory can be found under the keyboard, both take edo ram, but your out of luck as the 220cs with 64mb ram has got 16mb on board, so has the large form factor 48mb edo memory chip and it wont fit into the 300cds..

220cs takes both small form and large form size memory chips, 300cds memory has got to be smaller size..

I have a toshiba 220cs (133mhz cpu, 64mbs ram) and it runs win98 perfectly.

I also have one of these, 300cds, but it has only 16 mbs ram. It also runs win98. However I want to change the ram from the other laptop to this one. Don't know if it is easy or not...

Btw, I use the 220cs to: listen music, watch movies (in mpeg1 and wmv8), work texts and images, play games, etc... Don't say that a computer is no good anymore just beacuse it's old. NEVER! =)

wow windows 98 , an MMX processer is well old and slow...i cant belive that computer even boots up
