Great video i doubt where barka dut and other media jokers will run if they see this SHAME ON MAIN STREAM MEDIA.

  • 2:03 does not seem to be Urdu. It seems more like Sanskrit.

  • its so gud to see that this ancient art still exists...n thanx to carrot films for giving a platform to it..

  • why

  • Que pena! Em inglês! Adoraria assistir!

  • Brilliant! such talents deserve international attention. thanks for upload.

  • This is fascinating. In the machine-driven era that we currently are in, the personable touch is rare to find. Efficient methods of production is one thing, but having an exclusively written newspaper at your door step is something else. I'm glad you featured this, demonstrating the minute instricacies that some are still maintaining in our fast-paced, automated world.

  • how simple and how beautiful ...May God Gives U all the help u all need!!

  • an inspiration for all mankind! thanks for this posting...

  • Standing ovation to thoses associated with this docu and the newspaper. Great job. Keep it up.

  • "The main importance is calligraphy" Shouldn't the importance of the newspaper be its content and editorial quality and not its font?

  • @weggles Sorry, but did you not understand the point of this vid...? Just wondering, because it's talking about HOW the content (obviously the point) is put into the paper, ie HANDWRITTEN CALLIGRAPHY.

  • Well Shot! Well Edited! Well Produced! Well Narrated!

Nice Direction....WELL DONE GUYS YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB!!CHEERS!!!

  • I don't believe in religion what i liked is the Passion, Dedication and Creativity of these people. Thanks for bringing this into light.

  • what's the song in the video called ? it's amazing :)

  • @POODYMAN2010 In the beginning? Its some chillout/ambient version of 'Punjab' by Karunesh.

  • Dedication.

  • this is like trying to cook using charcoal instead of gas... People would think, what's the difference? You're only producing FIRE to cook it... same thing you can do with gas and lesser smoke produced... They will never understand...

  • Kudos for creating a wonderful documentary. Can you please post information on how to contact The Musalman team in the video brief as I would like to gift subscriptions to some of my urdu-reading Muslim friends.

  • @makapav what a good idea! :o)

  • Beautiful film. Charming and subtle. Hats off to the film makers and the Musalman Team

  • Beautifully made! The entire film has an incredible charm and feel. I especially love the title! It really is a dream that should be preserved and encouraged. Congratulations on a fantastic film.

  • What a lovely concept! And what a courageous man, Arifullah, to continue working on his father's dream. Very well shot film, great voice of the narrator, and terrific camera work. Loved it!

  • This demonstrates the greatness of secular India of Gandhi. Md Ali Jinnah failed to see it when he said that Muslims were incompatible with any other religion. This in his narrow view formed the basis of the partition. Lord Mountbatten later said that he would never have agreed to the partition, had he known that Jinnah was to die of cancer in a year's time. His pleadings for separation sowed the seeds of cancer that now poisons the relationship between Pakistan and India.

  • Great work ! Didn't know this paper existed. and B.T.W: great quality vid 1080p !

  • Truly mind blowing!
