  • Where can i find the entire bootleg concert?

  • I was there, thanks for sharing this, wonderful memory!

  • This band was more adventurous than Duran Duran, plus they weren't "pretty boys," whereas DD cultivated that kind of image, focusing on fashion. We should all take a valuable lesson from music history in that the more attention artists give to their "look," the more lacking their music will be. There may be exceptions, but this appears to be the rule.

  • Michael was amazing and a true stageman. :)

  • Vastly superior to the likes of Duran Duran. These guys rocked, and with class :)

  • I don';t really hear a difference between INXS and some close version of Duran Duran. Same sonic landscape, same look, similar songs and instrumentation, same time period, same themes.

  • Oh man this was one of the best weekends of the 80s! I was there and lived to tell!

  • @roz805 I wish!

  • they look so young and they really hit it in 88

  • the one dislike on here is obviously a pre-teen who thinks lady ga ga has a true voice and doesent rip off every good band who came before her! sad little brat.,....

  • @mojohelmet GaGa has stolen from Blondie and Madonna, amd packaged it for todays kids the most blatent is this "born this way" which really sounds like a re-written madonnas "Express Yourself"

  • @horseboyken yea, she is a 5 doller retread!.....

  • @horseboyken

Add a little David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and other 70's icons and everybody realizes she is nothing more than rehashed old ideas in a flashy new package for the ignorant generation oblivious to anything older than 5 years.

  • @horseboyken You can add Dale Bozio to the list that she has stolen from.

  • @trinityzion1969 from "Missing Persons" ? did he ever wear black solar panels ina vid? lol

  • PHENOMENAL! I remember this day! I was THERE!

Michael, I love you always. Your music changed my life and I will always miss you.Tragic. Such a talent who did good, in a world that can do such bad. (Especially nowadays.) For me, you were a light in the dark and you changed my world for the better. You are truly missed.

  • Almost 30 years ago! They look so young...yikes time has gone by. Nothing like the 80s though!

  • MIKE WAS SUCH A YOUNG THING HERE, AWESOME GUY MAN.

  • MH died from auto-erotic asphyxiation.Don't try this at home!

  • @Steelie1963 HE DID NOT IDIOT!!

  • @KK062 YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!The 'suicide' story in the media was a coverup.

  • @Steelie1963 IDIOT.....do you have proof of what you are sayiing? Because in officila doc theres nothing and based on his last calls, and his states of mind in the past years, unfortunately theres little doubt. Actually the TRUTH is not easier to handle. So you have weird fantasy, get sorted! Otheriwse what you are doing as media was doing is called "SLENDER".

  • @KK062 Did it occur to you I was joking?Get a life!

  • @Steelie1963 Oh you were joking! well YOU should get a life idiot! No it did not occur to me that joking about the death of someone could be funny. Now am laughing so much.....

  • The Mike man doing the Jagger swag...

  • insx would of been bigger than u2!

  • you miss reagan???

  • @jayhoffs I miss Reagan very much! Much better than Obama!

  • @Apercue - LOL

  • @randomeddie hey we all live life till its gone! dont knock M.H. for doing it his way.....

  • @mojohelmet - I think you have me mixed up with someone else's comment, I love Hutch...peace.

  • Nice hair, Kirk!

  • 27 years ago, wow. Look at the crowd, America was still pretty much white. Too bad, so sad.

  • I saw these guys back in 1982 , they opened for the Go Go's , one of the best concerts I have ever been. I was right up at the stage.

  • Look how everyone is having fun, being civilized... not like the shit hole California has become now.

And see how tight INXS was? Absolutely one of the very last great bands before music took a nosedive.

  • Michael you were so fkin talented, why did you have to leave us? R.I.P.

  • They were so good that day. I'll never forget that whole concert.

  • This convert was the first time I saw INXS and others. Saw them many times afterwards. I am going to sound old, but things back then just seemed to be more fun. I am not sure why. I was still in college when we all went to the US festival. No fights, no guns, etc. etc. I have such great memories from May of 83.

  • I miss how much less of a police state the world was back than.

  • @7514328 yeah really! i was just thinking about that last night. our once cool society has turned into scared sheep. know one even knows how to move anymore.... pretty sad.

  • @7514328 here here, totalitarian warfare. THIS IS WAR!!! 30stm

  • Think the lead singer's mannerisms are somehow influenced by Mick Jagger?

  • jim morrison

  • @metallicaX100 no,Michael Hutchence :P

  • I was there. Remember it being really hot great music!!!!!

  • I N X S S U X ! LOVE THEM ;D

  • Michael hutchens and inxs was one of the best 80's bands. i miss him lots.

    rest in peace.

  • @perla852 nice of you to say but his name is Michael Hutchence...

  • I'll bet Michael was looking at the hotties on boyfriends shoulders and thinking 'I'll have you, you, you..."

    I know I would! :P

  • I'd definately be grabbin the one at 2:26.

  • I was there! This was my introduction to INXS. Aside from English Beat and Stray Cats, they stole the show.
