Derek, what are you using for shooting line? Ever try Q-line or spectra? Strong stuff 800lb test. Never had it break even with massive dogtooth. This vid reminded me of my last trip this summer where I shot Uhu in the gills. They came off and trailed massive blood while escaping into a crack. Once I got over it, the fish floated back up dead. Except... This video was a lot more gnarly!

@Breathlesssight I use the thinnest monofilament I can. For every 100 lb fish I see, I see 100,000 3 lb fish.

@thekindproductions So are you saying you have to use a lighter test for smaller fish and heavier for bigger fish? If so, why? Check the Qline out. No memory, light and strong. No crimps just use a... Double over hand if Im not mistaken.
