I'm hearing a problem many coverbands have: Your keyboardplayer isn't using any form of overdrive on his organ sound. I know it's a small detail, but many musicians love the Jon Lord overdriven hammond organ, that's just a must-have, if you're thinking about being a serious keyboardplayer...

You are perfectly right, unfortunately I don't have Hammond but an old korg n5 without overdrive and I am not a good keyboardplayer! However thanks of the suggestion Ciao

Well I don't have the budget (and strenght!) for a real Hammond either, so I bought myself a nice tube amp (you can buy a good tube-overdrive like the TS-808/9 or a clone too). You can also consider buying a leslie-simulator like the Behringer RM600, which has a build in overdrive (which sounds pretty cool!). Or if you're willing to invest loads of money, you can always buy a Boss RT-20 (which costs about 200 euro)..
