  • Thank you satellite radio

  • LOVE IT

  • Dear Jesus, tears are in my eyes! I love you daddy(Henry Adams) for exposing me to this wonderful artist! Brook Benton is one of the best of his time :)

  • :-) Thank you for sharing

  • This was on the first record my parents bought when we came to America and I know every syllable and note in it. Delicious!

  • GREAT SONG I REMEMBER HEARING IT AS A LITTLE BOY AS IF IT WAS YESTERDAY.I REMEMBER MY DAD PLAYING IT ON A WING UP TYPE OF RECORD PLAYER, OLD OLD SCHOOL.

  • Such a distinct, unique voice and a classy, catchy style to match.

  • @Mr1962KDSelvis

So true. The artists of the good old days all had distinction. They were truly unique. Now you don't know who you're hearing, if you don't see a label.

  • A #1 hit for Brook Benton on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It was the 70th #1 R&B hit of the Rock Era.

  • I grew up as a child in the 60's enjoying my parents music-and I still do appreciate this music.

  • OMG Love this as a little girl I played records for my parents parties which was a lot and this stands out in my mnds and soul. The 60's were great.

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET! MY MA LOVE THIS SONG

  • what a voice this song rocks

  • What a remarkable voice!!!!!!!

  • wokj, jackson,ms. played this w/jobie martin as dj back in the early 60's until there was no grooves left on the 45.........lol

  • AHHHHHH. This voice would make me do things I can't say on YouTube (LOL)

  • I grew up hearing this. My mom played Sam Cooke and Brook constantly... sometimes duets wih Dinah... Chops were solid back then, unlike today with vocoders, pitch adjusters and beat detectives. That's why we are in a recession. Everything (work and play) is half- as#ed today!!

  • A favoirite of those good old years of long ago; thanks for sharing..../maryn

  • This was the day when our music artists were our political ambassadors to the world. They exuded style, class, dignity and pride. They gave images for young people to aspire to in a world of political turmoil. Its no accident that today we have people who are promoted to our young who have no talent beyond an image of clownish consumerism and irresponsibility.

  • @hmorganman Couldnt have said it better. It's just too bad the image AND the talent has gone down the tubes. All you have to do nowdays is talk fast, you dont even have to sing.

  • @hmorganman magnifico comentario...FELICIDADES....TOTALMENTE DE ACUERDO

  • @hmorganman

    Very well said, I agree,

    L
