What I find interesting is that you keep an average space between position shifts for this one, which saxophonists have no bother with. I've found myself repositioning the head for this song 2 or 3 times and alternating to try and get it right. Keep the good work up!
@axiluss Not really. He's replaced the pickups with humbuckers, he's on the neck pickup and he's rolled the treble right back. Also, look at those strings: very chunky. I'm not even sure why he bothers to play a Strat at all, if he wants to sound like an entirely different kind of guitar.
@ruiolas Oh, don't get me started on SRV. I'm not a fan. (Seriously, please, don't get me started. I do not want to get involved in a pointless comment war about how I'm not that keen on SRV. I'm not saying he's bad, just that I don't like it.)
Nop, Charlie Parker did, and named it after a female friend of his Donna Lee!
check this guy out, on Myspace, and of course on YouTube, he's great, he's got a awsome technique, and he's so versatile, he can play almost everything!
Miles Davis wrote Donna Lee, but was under a strict contract with... somebody (I don't remember who) and wasn't allowed to produce any more songs. So he gave the writing writes to Parker, so that the song could be recorded.

@lexo30 maybe he's got a coil tap, and he can switch to a strat sound ;)
And the heavy strings... just tune low and you got the SRV sound.
