How to Train your Dragon = FANTASTIC soundtrack. "See you Tomorrow" and "Test Drive" are definitely two of the best. "Battling the Green Death" is another favorite. :)

Tron Legacy should have been nominated because its unique blend of tech and orchestra plus most songs on that soundtrack are just unbelievably amazing.
To say that zimmer should have won because his song used an array of musicians with traditional instruments instead of 2 musicians using electronic instruments is a testament to the masses losing track of the value and meaning of creativity.

How did Daft Punk not even get nominated? The music MADE Tron Legacy, they relied on it heavily to drive emotion, while the music in the King's Speech was nothing more than background noise during montages!
'm glad Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won it.. I They have redefined "film score..." I thought Hans did a great job as always with the HUGE hollywood blockbuster, but it seemed like the soundtrack was perfectly married with film but not the easiest to easily digest on it's own.. John Powell did a phenomenal job as well with How To Train Your Dragon,, it seemed he stepped outside his normal boundaries on it. However, John Powell's ego sometimes seems more pretentious than his talent. A good call

I think "Deathly hallows part 1" deserves Oscar Nominations. Alexandre Desplat made some awesome tracks.
But from nominated tracks "How to train your dragon" and Inception" are the best
