@TheStonerFace i completely agree. i tried it once and yes i could see how it could be very addictive but at the same time i couldnt understand exactly why. for one thing i lost complete interest in doing anything for the few hours i was high. i would much rather take a strong dose of dxm and be in a fantasy world. its safer when u use just dextromethorphan at the right doses for your body weight and not nearly as hard to quit. heroin is almost impossible for addicts to quit.

I've tried heroin a few times. Never got addicted. But then again drugs often have a different reaction with me.....when I feel the withdrawl of these substances that is enough to deter me, rather than incline me, from taking the substance. I've only been on morphine (via a morphine pump,) and hydrocodone with buspar that served to increase the effects. I suffered from a broken femur right below the hip, and a shattered foreamr. The surgery was a nightmare, and my body quickly built a tolerance. At one point in the hospital, I was trying to get off the hydrocodone, allready having pushed off the morphine. It's not fun not being able to shit for 4-5 days. At one point I got to the shower by myself in a walker and broke down.
Yup, that hydocodone is some scary, nasty shit and I have never been sicker in my life when trying to stop taking it. I had no idea when I was prescribed it for hip problems that the drug would become a far worse problem than the hip EVER was. Hope you are healthy and happy now and I wish you peace.

Why is diacetylmorphine schedule 1 in the US (when it's not in many countries)? I've had both heroin and Diluadid. Diluadid is more powerful IV with a shorter duration. It's perfectly legal and the shorter duration makes it more addictive. Why is fentanyl perfectly legal in the US when it's nearly 80 TIMES more powerful than morphine? Heroin is on a dozen or so times more addictive. Your description of "heroin" is WRONG. Real diamorph (RX and controlled) is clean and more useful than many drugs.

My 17 year old brother was hooked on Heroin for over 2 years. It was painful. He was able to stop with a family intervention. Of course there were relapses, but a loving and very close family is what helped him in the end. He's been clean for over a year now.

In this thing I'm writing, most drugs are legal for spiritual or recreational use. They are regulated, so if you buy i.e. ecstasy you know you're really getting ecstasy and not something else.
One regulation is that drugs which are genuinely physically addicting can't be sold to those under 21. Doesn't mean that teenagers can't get it anyway, of course. You are talking about strength of opiate, which doesn't correlate with addictiveness. Ciggarrettes, for instance, are not that powerfully mind-altering but intensely addictive.
Both fentanyl and diluadid have a warmer better rush IV than diacetylmorphine and shorter durations (I've been hospitalized several times). That makes them BOTH, while perfectly legal, MORE addictive. I got high on the fentanyl on top of 3rd degree burns. No amount of morphine is going to even compare and heroin would only have scratched the pain away.

yea this all is so true. it's not heroin, but i have experienced drug addiction to the powerful opiate suboxone. when i was doing it, it was all that i thought about, all i ever wanted to do. i still consider myself an addict because i still have cravings, always will, and i know if i saw a line of suboxone or a pill, i wouldn't be able to stop myself. however, i have been sober from any opiates for 6 months WOOHOO! lol

Part of the reason it's so addictive is because of injection. It hits the bloodstream very fast so as to cause much more euphoria than any other method.

LSD, mescaline, & DMT especially are not addictive. Most people after a breakthrough dose of DMT, will need some time to integrate the experience before they would want to revisit that again. There are many legal entheogens, the plants are legal to buy sell & possess, but often the alkaloids in them are not.
Heroin & opiates especially METHADONE produce actual physical withdrawal symptoms, length of the withdrawal depends. Heroin withdrawal is usually 3-7days, Methadone 14-24 days

i think Heroin should be legal.. all drugs should be legal.. i would never recommend using it.. but for those who are addicted they are suffering with a medical problem.. safe enviorments should be provided for them to shoot up... aswell as safe kit... there are more problems surrounding heroin becuase of its illegality than there would be if it was legal.. there would be less stigmatization and people would be able to get the treatment they need to end the night mare of a heroin addiction

One thing noone talks about when talking about all the negatives of iv heroin use; is the weird aches you get in your veins any time you look at a spoon, watch someone in a movie shoot-up, or just anything in general that reminds you of needles... I say this 5 years after my last shot. Heroin is no joke.... and certainly not a high. It will atler your body to where you don't enjoy food, people, POT, sunshine, and just over-all: Life. .

I've tried heroin a few times. Never got addicted. But then again drugs often have a different reaction with me.....when I feel the withdrawl of these substances that is enough to deter me, rather than incline me, from taking the substance. I don't see why withdrawl would make you want to take more...to me it's like my body is poisoned and I don't want anymore of it.

I've only been on morphine (via a morphine pump,) and hydrocodone with buspar that served to increase the effects. I suffered from a broken femur right below the hip, and a shattered foreamr. The surgery was a nightmare, and my body quickly built a tolerance. At one point in the hospital, I was trying to get off the hydrocodone, allready having pushed off the morphine. It's not fun not being able to shit for 4-5 days. At one point I got to the shower by myself in a walker and broke down.

Yup, that hydocodone is some scary, nasty shit and I have never been sicker in my life when trying to stop taking it. I had no idea when I was prescribed it for hip problems that the drug would become a far worse problem than the hip EVER was. Hope you are healthy and happy now and I wish you peace.

If you have trouble sleeping or ptsd, and go to a psychiatrist. I bet you anything the 1st thing they prescribe (for your insomnia) is ABILIFY. Then, after your body doesn't handle it well they prescribe you seroquel or geodone. Along with that they prescribe you LEXAPRO. Why is diacetylmorphine schedule 1 in the US (when it's not in many countries)? I've had both heroin and Diluadid. Diluadid is more powerful IV with a shorter duration. It's perfectly legal and the shorter duration makes it more addictive. Why is fentanyl perfectly legal in the US when it's nearly 80 TIMES more powerful than morphine? Heroin is on a dozen or so times more addictive. Your description of "heroin" is WRONG. Real diamorph (RX and controlled) is clean and more useful than many drugs.

My 17 year old brother was hooked on Heroin for over 2 years. It was painful. He was able to stop with a family intervention. Of course there were relapses, but a loving and very close family is what helped him in the end. He's been clean for over a year now.
I have also heard mushrooms can cure addiction.

I'd also like to mention that the euphoric trance-like state with inner hallucinations (in the mind, behind the eyes, so to say) only comes the first or maybe second time you use the drug. It was one of the most amazing experiences I ever had; I saw the most beautiful, almost unearthly scenes I've ever seen, and wanted that the second time as well- almost nothing. The third time? Nothing at all. When using heroin, you're chasing something that's a one-timer. The devil teases. Keep away.

I had something similar happen to me years ago (in a different way)- I was on the close edge of becoming a hardcore alcoholic and psycho-dependent on hasch, when I took my first trip. The trip was so horrible (indescribable) that I cut out alc & hasch completely for years and only smoke very rarely now. I certainly didn't have a spiritual experience, but I wanted nothing more than to hold on to my precious sanity....

In this thing I'm writing, most drugs are legal for spiritual or recreational use. They are regulated, so if you buy i.e. ecstasy you know you're really getting ecstasy and not something else.
One regulation is that drugs which are genuinely physically addicting can't be sold to those under 21. Doesn't mean that teenagers can't get it anyway, of course. Hell, they can get it now, if they want it. But with so many non-addicting psychoactives available, why bother with something like heroin?

Both fentanyl and diluadid have a warmer better rush IV than diacetylmorphine and shorter durations (I've been hospitalized several times). That makes them BOTH, while perfectly legal, MORE addictive. I got high on the fentanyl on top of 3rd degree burns. No amount of morphine is going to even compare and heroin would only have scratched the pain away.

Oh and your forgeting oxymorphone, it's one of the strongest opiate derivitives out there. The first time I took codeine I didnt feel it, codeine is soo weak. I had it when I shattered my collarbone. I had to do some self medicating for a couple months.

I like this video better than the one you made about cocaine. It's one thing to recommend people not take a certain drug, it's another thing to say they should go to jail if they do. People will do what they want. No need for them to suffer even more than is natural.
