insane amounts of respect to foo fighters and chili peppers because they are an inspiration to all... i've been listening to motion city for quite a while... well, at least since i am the movie, for all of THOSE "i have their demo from their first show people..." but, shit... you just can not get more honest lyrics and bad ass sound from a band to date. i STILL listen to "i am the movie" like it JUST came out... those telecasters just have such soul and tone it's amazing. listen. don't hear.

i have just had a revelation. after about four years of owning this song, i had no idea what was said in the chorus (i had a vague idea it was 'i have friends'), until i suddenly realised it was 'i held hands'. this revelation lasted about half an hour until i looked on a video with lyrics and it said 'our hell ends'. great.
