I was stationed at McMud in 1971-1972. Then at Willy field for 72-73 summer support. We used to have the Crash and Burn society at Club Erabus. What happened to the movie house? What about the Nuke plant? Is Willy field still there?
@papajohn5656 I believe the plan was the move weight equipment into building 155, but when I was there people were doing all their workouts in the second gym
That brings back some memories. I was there from 1980-1984. Those big barracks wern't there then, nor was bldg. 155 enlarged like that either. The old Acey Ducey club. Got drunk as a skunk there on my 22th birthday. Oct. 14, 1982. Lots of fun.
He's voice sounds a little guessing. He is adjusting to the boredom and isolation of McMurdo. I can relate to him, because I have to be studying in Rovaniemi. Ugh, I wish got to go to southern Europe.

Blue building is no more unfortunately. Structurally damaged so it's closed now. No more bowling...

It looks very civilized nowadays. The internet would make it a little easier to take.

I suddenly had a random interest in living conditions in antarctica. So I found this video. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity.
