  • Great Tips

  • If your knee is swollen then I suggest use ice. 15 minutes on 15 min. off.

If it is some sort of a sprain or strain of the muscle/muscles then I would suggest using heat, 15 on 15 off. You can also alternate hot a cold if you want. again 15 on 15 off for both hot and cold, or until pain goes away.

I also advise you to go and see your general practitioner to be sure nothing is severely wrong. hope this helps you. get well.

  • Now it would be nice if you cut and exposed the injury. What if there was an underlying problem other than swelling? After putting ice on the knee you could also check to see if the patient could bare weight on their leg.

  • well last week i have done something to my knee im not sure what but i have been icing it on and off for 15 min each and at night putting icy hot on but still their. im a football player and starting pre-season and would like to know if i can do anything els like a stretch or a exercise that could help. i would like to see how it does for another week and if it is still their ask my doc. thanks

  • Buy a Heat Spray and spray it keep applying ice if the swelling persist too long( more than 2weeks) Please consult a doctor for further Advice. Cheers !
