ive had my perrsion for a year now, got her from the humane society, with a bad cold , yellowish fur loaded with fleas and front paws declawed and 6 lbs, she was about 3 years old, now she healthy, white and and about 10 lbs. thrue the years ive gotten all my pets, from shelters and all were excellent pets.

could you please tell me how to stop matting? I brush my black smoke at night and in the morning he will have 2 or 3 new ones

@dlwdunham i am no expert but i have discovered by useing baby but wipes, the ones without alcohol have stopped the matting,. they contain glycerin and i think thats what stops the matting. rub it into the fur real good, i do it once every two or three weeks and it seems to work cut the knots out the fur will grow back. check with ur vet first about useing the but wipes.

I don't get the point of these shows. My mum took me to a bah-zillion of them and the only feeling I have is that people exposing their animals in such a way are just making a transfert because THEY don't get the attention given to the cat themselves :/ I had persians, you need to groom them so they'll be healthy and clean, but putting them in cages and spraying them and what not? Useless :/

Lots of crazies on here lol...even peta dosen't object to these shows, they are not that often and these cats are 99% pampered to death, i have a persian and she loves the attention. If you see something abusive in this video you are a nut.

thats so cute how it clung to its owner, my cat does the same when i take her to the vet.

i guess those who think that its so cruel dont know that the cats will be fine, they are just uncomfortable for a minute but then go back to their owners and all is forgotten.

plus the owner is staring at the lady, if the owner is there then its not likely that they would stand for anyone hurting their cat.

what did you put on the cats eyes and what did you spray?

the area around the eye (not the eye) got some powder to keep the fur dry and clean. and the spray is something to make the fur light and antistatic.
