  • I hadn't heard this version before, I'm not sure which version we've been singing, but this arrangement was incredibly touching. The version we sing is much faster, uptempo, and more powerful, but I could clearly feel the words and their meaning when listening to this piece. It made me feel like crying, it's beautiful.

  • Pity the organ part is not shown. But one of my favi=ourites as a tenor in a very good church choir.

  • One of the best glorias ever written!!!!

  • This is a splendid Gloria!

A standard, good setting; we are performing this this very evening and will start practicing in the afternoon... about 3 hrs from now (a combined choir- we are joining the choir at St George's in Johannesburg; we are Christ Church Arcadia, Pretoria).

I look forward to it! :)

  • Th Gloria is my favorite ever!

  • What a Gloria. This is what electricity sounds like: Pure Power

  • @elpudino I agree a thoroughly splendid amen!

  • is it most certainly St. John's,

and there will be some new videos up in the next week!

    Thanks

  • Great! I´ll look forward to them - thanks again!

  • Thank you, Morphthing, for putting this up as I have been looking for a decent version of this for a long, long time. It is a brilliant version.

Do you happen to have a version of Stanford's Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in G?

  • I happen to be working on creating the video for that very piece at the moment along with the Magnificat in B flat, should be all up over the next day or two.

  • Thank you very much, that's fantastic.

These are beautiful pieces that I am singing with my cathedral youth choir at the moment. I'm falling in love with spiritual music.

    Thanks again.
