WOW I wish I could walk through some of the old abanded chunute afb buildings  I was born there in the old chunute afb hospital,,,my problme is I dont drive and I live just down town rantoul,,,I would love to take something as a momneto to remember chunute by,, is any one going

Sad to hear that this historic landmark is now gone. That makes this footage all the more special. It would be a hoot to know what movies played there. The shot from the stage was very cool. Two video suggestions: 1: snack bar oddity AND 2: weird drive in moment.........also, thanks for going up into the projection booth, nicve shot out the porthole. "Backdraft" played there....it looks bombed out, that's snow in the front rows?

Was stationed @ Chanute for a year in 1988. I saw many movies here. Very Sad. White Hall looks just as bad.

this theater is a the old Chanute AFB in ill. I was stationed there in 1970 and remember going to that theater often. The base has been closed since, and some buildings have been abandoned.
