  • Is that a magic mushroom?

  • IDIOT!!!

  • haha wow i woced it 4 times XD

  • It's a bolete, good eating...

  • but let me qualify - I'm NOT familiar with this particular bolete - AND it could be poisonous, so DO be careful, y'all, do NOT eat a mushroom you are NOT certain of...

  • clarify not qualify

  • You aint supposed to touch it, it can get into your system ..

    Anyway I've seen bigger!

  • yes it will get into your system but it wouldnt stay there, your body would flush it out long before anything would happen

  • What? "it can get into your system"!?

  • thats a myth man. and it isnt poisonous its edible and actually quite nice tasting with a certain mix of spices.

  • thats nothing compared to the on i found yesterday in my yard. lol me and my neighbor put it on the road outside our neighborhood and a car ran over it and it got EVERYWHERE!!!! But it was a different kind of mushroom if you opened it up it felt and looked like cottage cheese.

  • was it like a white truffle type? I found one of those and it was like 2 pounds and 2 times my head size. we cooked and ate it. Not a fan but i am of magic shroomies :)

  • lolz can i eat it???

  • Heehee, "Wow" seems to be universal. She's beautiful!

  • Boletes grow everywhere. Shhh.

There's a lovely penny bun that comes up on the boulevard right near the 29th AVe station in Vancouver, the house there used to have a couch or big chair on the porch. I left a map for friends when I left.

  • She tells what kind, in Russian! It is called Grib Podosenovik (Mushroom Under Aspen Tree), It has a brown top and white stem. It is a favorite to find and eat in Russia, where mushroom hunting is almost a national pastime.

  • Are they psychoactive mushrooms?

  • They are normal edible mushrooms, a local favorite, especially cooked with potatoes.

  • Haha xD Nice reply dude.

  • @SennayaShorts Is another name for it a Red Aspen Bolete?

  • @SennayaShorts Actually it's called Podberezovik (Under Birch). aka brown birch bolete. The mushroom you reference is the orange birch bolete (Pod-Ocinovik)

  • @SennayaShorts Russia must be an awesome place to live! Mushroom hunters are some of the best people on the planet!

  • @xXStrWbrrYsToneXx : In my country of Laos, we do mushroom hunting in the jungles. But you have to watch out for wild animals like the Asian elepants and tigers. It's very dangerous but worth it. Mushrooms are delicious.

  • That mushroom looks like a Black Velvet Bolete

  • Wow that's a cool shroom

  • It's a type of Bolete in the Leccinum genus. You can tell by the scaly stem ;)

  • I know. At first I thought it was a Death Cap (Trust me, I'm a very good mushroom expert).

  • What the fuck are you talking about?! That looks nothing like a death cap. Death Caps are small and white.

  • I know, when I first looked at it (I didn't look at it good).

  • lmao you fool.
