you know if this was to be an origin film for the character, it should of focused on Hal Jordon's training on Oa and Sinestro forming his own Corp, then the Sequel would of Focused more on Hal and Carol's slow budding romance which is ruined when she becomes Star Sapphire. I mean the director didn't do the job well, he should of read from the source material which are the comics and adapt it in some way like how Nolan did Batman

I love this Green Lantern soundtrack because it's got a memorable theme for the main character which you can hear at 0:14...

@shuhel16 Well it's only the first film. The Transformers had the same thing going on. First films aren't always has epic as you'd expect them to be. Green Lantern was a Decent Spectacular Exciting DC film.

@mac19971 I definately agree that since its the first film it won't be as epic but you have to makw the best film possible and make an emotional impact, your first has to be the best otherwise theres no point trying. Green Lantern isn't the worst superhero film i have ever seen but it isn't the greatest. Thats my personal opinion mate. And also the first Transformers was pretty good and i'm a big fan but the latter sequel is rubbish, Transformers 3 was good but the first is the best defo.
