  • Honestly, if Carlin had any balls he would have gone into politics or business and changed the system instead of just making jokes about it. Carlin may have mock-protested but the guy played ball. He was a worker ant, made his money and paid into the system. Only difference is he made a helluva lot more of that money than his fans.

  • @WatchThisReview

Truth has no place in politics.

  • @Schismxs The same could be said accountability, intelligence, and capability.

  • Its called brain washing.

  • right on George R.I.P.

  • How do ya wake up? By critical thinking?see I have so many god damn questions

How do we live?how do we live in this formalized world?all the land on this planet "belongs" to somebody. If I somehow wanted to quit this controlled life;how? I have to some how find a way to survive and my understanding is go to college, get a nice paying job,buy a home but yet you still gotta pay those fricken taxes and the time you invested to bring home some bread, you also invest a part of it to fund what your stu

  • I bet some people think he's just joking around

  • Can't say his humour makes me laugh out loud but I really like hearing what he had to say and waking people up. Still too many are asleep.

  • Carlin was one of a kind and a great critical thinker. He will be missed.

  • this guy spews truth from every orphus

  • Again the truth from comedians, sort of like us watching comedy central for the truth and a so called news channel for comedy.

  • In a way hes like the Comedian from Watchmen :D

It would sorta make sense too "prictures jounal; June 22, 2008. Tonight a comedian died from New York. Somebody knows why...." xP

  • America: The Empire of Illusion.

  • I agree, it's time to wakeup

  • @uCOZA- it has nothing to do with complaining about having internet and electricity. it's about the means they are going through in order to obtain these privileges that we do have as american people. the problem is that we do drive around in unnecessary SUV's, have 14 televisions for one house when we CAN LIVE with one. the problem is our american society has brainwashed us into thinking we NEED these commodities while its driving us into debt and making the rich-richest.

  • our entire perception of reality is based on how important it is to us to know it. most of us are too lazy and/or just realistic enough to keep our heads down in our mcmansions.

  • fat, dumb, and happy beats awake then dead. your children dead.o

  • Welcome to U卐A

  • its the truth and there is no way out unless we bust a revolution until then people are going to keep on being brainwashed

  • Look at George's video.. "Doesn't Vote". We all complain about politicians and lobbyists and we are the ones who voted them into office. Those same politicians when they were young had to go through the same system we did..go to school, get a job or career then bust your behind til you can run for office. The only real people who have control of society are the uber wealthy who inherited what they have. The Rockefellers, The Kennedys, DuPont family and on and on.

  • @ubuntuguruCOZA, If capitalism has run it's course, where do you buy groceries, clothing, gasoline....etc? Charlie Sheen is rich from capitalism too. Not to mention, an anti capitalist somewhere capitalizing from your kind of stupidity via capitalism.

  • best comedian/truth teller EVER.

  • @ubuntuguruCOZA, (continued) Capitalism will never die. The choice is private capitalism or government capitalism. Russia has government capitalism. The masses are doing without, but the government officials are raking it in. If you think the United States will fair will with government capitalism, just look at the post office. They loose billions every quarter. That what happens when non business people government capitalism.

  • @ubuntuguruCOZA, If capitalism has run it's course, how do you enjoy the internet? How bout the power to turn on your computer? How bout the shoes on your feet? The rewards of capitalism begets incentive. It's that incentive that propels motivated people to invent and develop solutions. Manufacturing solutions employ people. Even the theater, stage, lights and the very microphone that enables Mr Carlin to whine about capitalism was developed by capitalist. Prove your protest and move to Russia.

  • Capitalism filled this man's pockets. Now he dares to misrepresent capitalism? Government sponsored business (freddie/fannie/post office) resembles his complaints. Yet he's attempting to categorize private capitalism as the same. Sure private capitalism has it's crooks. Should I judge all of Hollywood by Charlie Sheen?

  • @songsmithdan IF you can't see that capitalism has run its course and that it clearly isn't a fair system and we as a species have the ability to be fair .... then shame on you, PS, Charlie Sheen is wonderful !

  • George Carlin sounds like the Union Boss.

  • As far as Nationality, we're all British. America is a big corporation. It's not a country.

  • When he says "the real owners" the video isn't showing the real owners. They're the "criminal friends on Wall Street"

  • Now we're talking.. an EZPASS. Now I don't have to think about gettin screwed. I can just drive through and it deducts the money from my bank account. Cool. So now I can just 'sleep' through the tolls. Just let the money flow away. I'd almost think of not getting the pass just to let the tolls piss me off and stay in this contentious state, the mentally keep my focus on reality. But reality says, you can do that, but it doesn't change anything. I don't have a car that can fly over the tolls.

  • This video should have 300 million likes. I was driving up the PA turnpike to go snowboarding, which costs more and more every year. It costs 7.50 plus two 80 cent tolls if you drive to the end of it, which I did. You get tolled exactly the same way coming back. Total: $18.20. As I'm driving I see how crappy portions of the road are. Where is my money going. Not to education. Not to the roads. Not seemingly to any tangible services. I started thinking about getting an EZPASS.

  • The one person that did not like this is part of the American Dream Club

  • that is so true on TPTB not wanting people with critical thinking skills. I mean I can say I have strong critical thinking skills and I own almost 80% of the people on youtube on debates.
