TPG1 is actually better than AWM. the problem is that tpg is for camping snipers. its scope oscilates too much for moving snipers

To be precise I would use AWM on a serious match since I'm not a pro sniper. but if you're good at break shots you might want to use TPG since about 90% of its shots are a one shot kill

@anyuwant1 AWM with lightweight barrel has fastest RoF of all bolt actions. TPG with lapua barrel has lowest tag rage of all bolt actions.  For OHKO, go for TPG. For RoF, mobility, and moveshot, go with AWM but expect to have to hit twice to kill.

@kristians575 well, im an "AWM above all else" kinda guy, so if my mods intrest u, i use .338 Lapua Barrel, Sniper Trigger, Weight Grip, Heavy Stock. my own preference. tho as i've recently discovered, snow has the same mods as me, except he doesn't use the Sniper Trigger. dunno why.. descrip on it says it slows down zooming speed, but i tried, and didn't notice any difference.

@Carrot101 don't believe the rumors. TPG tags too, even on direct hit sometimes. and against what most ppl say, AWM does tag a bit more then TPG, but not nearly as much as they say. i'd say it's only that 5 less damage that's showing. but it's the second best dmg in the game after tpg, and i think it has everything else that's needed. fast scope as hell, that u can quickscope with, just as awesomely as fr or dsr, and also the best moveshot accuracy (jumping not included).

@GhosterHax TPG tags the least, i never said otherwise, but it still tags. especially on rifleman who got the 3rd rank defense skill. and AWM never tagged as much as fr-f2 for me. even DSR did better then frf2. but im not here to argue. i don't intend to change your way of thinking, nor can you change what i experienced fist-hand. though im kind of seeing more and more people with AWM nowdays. and frf2 would be almost as cool as dsr, if it didn't have such a lame moveshot accuracy.

Fr-f2 and tpg take a little more skill, although u can get kills against rifles while being bad. But i mean you can tell a good tpg user. A good awm user... hard to find.

@GhosterHax well, true enuf, i luv AWM the most, but even against the slow arse scoping and worst moveshot in the game, TPG is still my other fave and i use it here and there. u could say if i get bored of one, there's the other to "change the pace". and it isn't that hard to make that 1 micro-second stop till u shoot. as for the slow scope, tho i did a TPG quickscope here and there by accident (reflex), prescoping with TPG all the time is still more preferred by me.

@DarkXephos depends. for long range 1-shot (mostly) kills, TPG with all mods, including scope and damage, and shove all stability negatives into mobility with weight grip and heavy stock. slow zoom, slow movement, but a long range kill marvel. as for an all-rounder, AWM is your rifle. exact same modding as with TPG, but leave the scope off. there u have only 5 dmg less then the best available in game, but fast scoping, and better stats overall. good for quick-scoping AND good enuf for long range

@LordVeldrin : First off: stats lie. TPG is considered good because it one shots 99.99999999999999999% of the time. AWM can tag 10 times in a row on a bad day, most people think it's purely random. FR-FR2 is a more consistent gun with just about as quick a scope.

@HadesJanitor seems experiences differ aswell. i got both AWM and TPG, so i know how good they are. and as much as i've used TPG, it did tag at least 75% of the time against mid-high rank rifleman (advanced defense skill). AWM tagged only as much as TPG did for me so far. and i been using both for quite a while now. as for fr-f2... let's just say whenever i picked it up, it tagged 5 of 7 shots. it sometimes even tagged same guy twice in a row. guessing rifleman again.

@LordVeldrin: You are most likely hitting arms or legs. TPG almost never tags a chest shot. If 75% of your tpg shots are tagging you are doing it wrong.

@HadesJanitor read it again, think about what it says, and understand what i wrote before replying. it tagged 75% of the time ON RIFLEMAN WITH MAXED DEFENSE SKILL. and yes that's possible. having LV3 defense skill as rifleman along with good armor does make them have OVER 110 damage absorbtion, if combined with HP. so before u missunderstand again: rifleman + advanced defense skill level 3 + armor and armor enhancements will most likely make any single shot a tag. even tpg chest shot.

@HadesJanitor xD ok. try telling that to the group we tried it with. buddy recently reached 40 hours playtime as rifleman. he don't spend much on armor. and no gcoin at all. so he only got the expendable stuff. tried shooting him from 10 meters. i had the damage barrel on too. so it was a maxed out damage. guess what. tpg tagged 5/10 full hp chest shots. tried AWM on him too. same result. with SV98 he tagged 10/10. DSR-1 tagged 7/10. then i had to help him farm his lost s/d back. xD
