To clear things up for everyone in a very comprehensible way: Your PSP needs to have custom firmware, which until just recently was a pain in the ass.

But now that the current official firmware is 6.39, they've made a downgrader that works on any PSP model.

I won't say anything here, so you need to search on google for everything you need.

IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW TO INSTALL CERTAIN THINGS, YOU SHOULDN'T HACK YOUR PSP AND RISK BREAKING IT... just a little warning.
