My insurance is low at the moment. Bout to get collectors insurance for my show cars.. so the price of insurance will go incredibly up. But they will be fully covered from everything and for everything.
i was just wandering why yours doesnt have the push start button? ive noticed some challengers with them, and some challengers with out them. why is that?
Some come with that option. Mostly the SRT. I watched an epsiode of Car and Driver or one of those. They played a trick on him.. and actually drove it with only the push start and parked it in the middle of the turning lane on the road. As long as the key is in range, someone can start it. So I didn't want it that to happen. The key has a 100ft to 200ft range. So if you had that.. you would have to always have it locked if your nearby with the key. Someone can drive it 10ft.
........Before anti-theft kicks in and disables the car after it doesn't read the key anymore. Just by seeing that epiosde, turned me off on it completely.
Beautiful car. I just bought the same car on Saturday. Same color too! Only difference is I don't have the stripes or GPS and I also have the manual transmission. But, it's so much fun to drive. Let me know how your Mopar upgrades go.
Thanks bro. Yeah.. I love it. I like that they worked in the slap stick so that you can get the feel of the manual when you want to .. and its not all the time. Yeah.. pipes are coming first then the ram air system after that to make the hood vents functional. I think I will be going with the American Thunder Series by flowmaster.
I checked into it and they wanted $1700 for the system alone (Mopar Cat). No installation. That was 500 dollars more than even the Corsa System that I've seen people put on their Challengers. That ran around 1200 for the system. I looked into the flowmasters and for the money you can get a very similar system for around 600. That's probably the way I'll go. The American Thunder II 40 series. Saw a video on youtube of a challenger with it and sounded sweet. Has an agressive tone to it.
@DJCD01 how does that slap stick auto work, it looks like it would just change gears by itself cuz its still in the D, is there another button or do you push it up or down so it will only change gears by moving the stick side to side?
You have a choice for either mode. You can simply just put it in drive and it will drive just like an automatic. Or you can "slap" it up or down and it will switch to "manual" mode where you can "slap" it through the 6 gears. Moving it to the plus side or negative side.
How much is your insurance per month?
A friend of mine pays a little over 700$ for one car, but it's a 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe..
But seeing as he has one car.. and you have a bunch of cars, I wanted to know.
