so your cichlids get along with the eel? i thought they would dominate it , i have a 4foot long /2foot wide -fairy tall tank with a reef like setup - alot of caves and currently have 3 sichlids not sure of the names , 1 is electric blue i think , other is some green/browny one thats turning blue slowly , and third is the camo looking one which looks likes its in the army .1 silver shark , 2 fairly large bristlenose catfish , i need somthing out of the ordinary like an eel , is it compatible?
well it is a moray but not a snowflake eel i think its called a golden eel but definitely not a snowflake because snowflakes are white with a brown pattern along their body and are pure salt water just letting people know so they dont go out and buy a snowflake and put him in fresh =) nice eel by the way
What kind of fish is that with the yellow fins n silver body that kinda looks like a silver dollar?

bananatree94 3 years ago
Not a snowflake eel, snowflake eels are moray eels which need to absolutely be in a full marine tank.
