  • Have a cummins and a power stroke on the farm and the cummins will go by the power stroke any time

  • Dodge is the best

  • Built "tough"....but dodge got GUTS AND GLORY

  • I saw that too. Ford lost traction as the Dodge hit his brakes. Then the Dodge just pulled him as he was broke loose. In my book the Dodge lost. BECAUSE he felt that if he didn't work the brakes he would get pulled. So he knew he was going to loose so he did what he did. But I could care less.

  • I love how the dodge is messin with the ford and hittin the brakes, stopping, then driving foward again

  • notice the dodge hitting the brakes

  • im a ford guy, but dodges are beast!!

  • Lol. Of course the Stroker was gonna get pulled, the Cummins had the weight for traction.

  • If that had been a 6.0 Ford it would probably need a E.G.R. Valve , High Pressure Oil Pump and some Injectors after trying to man handle a real truck.

  • powerstrokes are junk

  • @vCoRpSeGrinDeRv if the inlines are so great then why would they be using more v8 powerstrokes insted of inline 6 cummins up at the mine tell me that

  • find an old ford 7.3 that weighs the same and lets see what happens lol

  • Doesn't everyone realize that the truck that wins just has more weight. It has nothing to do with the engine. Add 500lbs to the ford and it would win. I think the cummins is better but still this is a stupid test.

  • not fair thats a old ford put a new ford againts dat shitty dodge then you''ll see wats up

  • At least Ford has it's own engine and doesn't have to contract with another company cause their shit is week. Trucks get stronger ever year from ever maker so if you gonna do this with 2 stock trucks get them closer in age dumbass.

  • @johnnyhotrum yeah and only if you knew that a 7.3l was made by international and not ford ya fucking tardo the 6.0, 6.4, and 6.7 are powerstroke shit v8 pussy engines get with the program and run an inlie 6 ya know what a true diesel is not some shitty v8.

  • @vCoRpSeGrInDeRv your damn right. haha.

  • i rather be cummin instead of strokin ;)

  • @5turbodiesel me too

  • The guy in the Ford was an idiot you dont lay the damn thing on the mat. Agree with brandinni but ya cant find anyone driving foreigners with enough balls to hook anything!

  • id rather be cumming then stroken

  • Ford makes cummins engines.................

  • @tjcvf2

No they don't...Cummins is Cummins. They are their own company... Get your facts straight before posting stupid shit.

  • @tjcvf2

Ford uses NAV-STAR diesels...Better known as International Harvester.

  • Why Stroke it? When you can Ram it!!!!!!!!!!

  • id like to see newer ford put up to tht dodge, u know since newer trucks are geared and run for speed instead of hauling. sur a 7.3 or new 6.8 powerstroke would beat tht cummins

  • I'd rather be cummin then strokein!!

  • @TalboT87 Yeah in doods asses

  • "brought to you by inline diesel" who the fuck do you think is going to win this certain match? stupid people

  • dude let me take my fourwheeler and place it against a newer model utv and see who wins yall people r jokes

  • I went with a buddy to help buy a 05 cummins. He drove the dodge, which has a lift, and absolutely loved it. Then the dealer convinced him to try a 06 ford because it's cheaper. My friend literally laughed... There was no power, the computer read 9 mpg less then the dodge, and this thing had less mileage. All I'd give the ford is it had a nice interior, but that doesnt cover the fact that it was newer with less miles and a lariat package and still cost less then the cummins. Lol @ ford.

  • Lol I went with a buddy to help buy a 05 cummins. He drove the dodge, which has a lift and 35s, along with an

  • i say this isnt a far competion.you can clearly see the dodge is much newer then the ford..

  • What's not shown: Dodge goes to take off from a red light and blows the tranny.

  • if a v8 diesel motor was soooooooooooooooo goood then why dnt they put em in big rigs?????? inline 6 for life!!!! most balanced motor out there!

  • @powerwagon8

What about the 3408 CAT?? Or the 8v92 Detroit??

  • ford= Fucked up Old Rebuilt Dodge

  • actually dual rear tires creats less traction with no load on and the true deciding factor is that the ford is a lighter truck by about 750 lbs so there for less traction. the powerstroke is the #1 in this gen look it up if you dont want to belive it

  • Stroke has double rear wheels!!!

  • fuck that you have a ford from like 20 years ago and like an 05 dodge

  • the dodge was putting the brakes on while the ford was still trying lol.

  • that ford is like a 94... at least have the years match up somewhat... the dodge is at least an 04... ten years is a pretty big difference.. a lot has changed.

  • A newer Dodge vs a (96?) Ford? Really? Granted I'm Dodge fan, but that Ford is old, worn, and torn, and thats a joke of a match. Also, power isn't everything, you gotta have good tires to actually get grip to pull the other guy. Put that 96, or 95 Ford, or whatever year it is against the same year of a Dodge at least.

  • Some of you diesel guys are retards. This doesn't prove anything. Give the trucks the same tires, and make them weigh the same, then its fair.

  • The dodge kept hitting his brakes...

  • @JayGeePee1 dodge still won

  • @TheJoecool1972 - Whatever helps you sleep at night fanboy.

  • just goes to show ya why they call the ford motor a power joke

  • trucks prove nothing besides whoever has the heavier truck

  • ... its brought to you by cummins who do you think will win a ford is meant for hauling a dodge is good for gas mileage but either way thier bolth rly good trucks

  • now put a load in the bed of the ford and watch the ford win, wow really exciting

  • lol know whats funny? how the dodge wass a lot newer, and still hardly had the balls to pull an older ford xD

  • theres plenty of factors here, what tire grip ? weight, the dodge could have weights in back that we cant see, just saying but that "power stroke" just lit up all tires

  • funny thing is, the cummins keeps hitting the breaks when the powerstroke starts pulling him back. you can tell the powerstroke aint doin that because he is lighting up the tires the whole time. cummins just dont wanna look like an idiot.

  • thats got to be a 90"s powerstroke. but it still kept up the fight. put a newer powerstroke and the fords got it !

  • as long as its not a toyota cough*pieces of shit*cough than all american trucks are fine by me

  • is that ford really a power stroke or is it an IDI ? bc if that was an IDI he did pretty fuckin good!

  • so what the dodge has better tires which means it has more traction, but that dosnt mean that its better than the ford, let put new tires on both and put em up against each other in a tractor pull and see which one is better then. this tug of war shit dosnt prove nothing

  • @eminem28659 how do you figure that this tug of war doesnt prove anything? its clearly obvious that the dodge pulled the ford, just sayin.

  • The dodge is heavier. Better traction....duh. Doesn't prove shit.

  • look at people go ranting about fords just from watching this video, there are alot of factors that could make this tug unfair. its all about mods, i want to see 2 stock trucks, same size and tires go at it

  • Cummins. Proven to be the best time after time.

  • yeah too bad it was an old light truck standard cab against a brand new heavier, looks like crew cab, dodge. that was completely fair. also anyone who knows anything about that know it is all about traction, I.E. with and friction. and you almost have to assume it is bias if it is brought to you by a manufacturer of one or the other.

  • American Trucks are the only trucks, Dodge, Ford, or GM

  • @crf250racer121 dude gm isnt even american anymore they got signed over to japan, hence the cheap toyota looking chevys these days

  • @kdawg7070 truthfully GM owns duramax now they bought it from the japs

  • all this bullshit about trucks bing gay and the people driving them is stupid, if you like one brand good, other people like another, get over it

  • wow a old ass 90's ford vs a 2000's dodge why don't you put a 2000's ford with the same gears

  • kawirider206... Well i bleed Ford blue, ive owned a couple of Dodge diesel trucks though and have a reg cab F-350 idi that gets yanked by my buddies crew cab short bed Dodge every time i try... And yes, we have weighed them and there aint but a few hundred lbs difference. He never could pull my ext cab Pstroke though, on dirt or on pavement

  • that Powerstroke sounds way more like a diesel than that cummins....Ford-ga ga ga ga ga.....Dodge-hmmmmmmmmmm

  • Yeah notice how the dodge is a 4 door and the ford is a single cab guess witch one is lighter the ford not a fare pull at all

  • dimeslimeguy... What the hell does the trucks year model have to do with anything? Your not very smart huh? And i hate to break it to some of you guys but that Dodge doesnt weigh very much more than the Ford if its even heavier period. Maybe 2or 3 hundred lbs at the most.

  • @DrMcelroy Im a dodge man through and through, but I bet that cummins has 1000 pounds or better one the stroke

  • this only proves thaat the dodge is heavier and/or has better tires

  • ya i mean it really doesnt prove anything. although i will say that cummins are pretty legendary and their reputation speaks for themselves.

  • late 80s early 90s ford compared to a new dodge ram? who the fuck you thinks gonna win? lol idiots

  • The so called "powerjoke" just lit up all four tires.

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 power joke... its too bad thoes trucks didnt even come close to the same weight. do the math.

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 Really? He's in a fullsize dodge probably a 3500 2004 or earlier and this guy is in a little f250 match them together and it would be a little more fair, that little 250 put up more of a fight then some dodges I seen getting there asses handed to them by little chevy duramaxes.

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 because it getting dragged by an I6 Cummins

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 the only thing this ford can do is get the dodge to start cummins with its powerstroke technology lol

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 while being pulled backwards by a real truck

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 its powerchoke it has a little power in the begining but in the end it always chokes

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 i want you to take a good look at the "powerjoke" then look at the dodge..hmm notice the year difference? yeah, that fords early 90's that dodge is late 90's if not early 2000's

  • @rouletteroller hey that ford got the might 7.3, if its so good then why didnt it ebat that 5.9 cummins. cummins forever

  • @TheJoecool1972 the ford is standard single cab standard size bed, the dodge is set up for towwing..geared different made for different purposes..offroad the ford would destroy that dodge..and to me offroad is all that matters.

  • @rouletteroller yeah but the older fords like this one run circles around the fords. if you want to see a ford really get whiped try putting a 5.9 against a 6.0

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 the only reason it did that is because it was too busy getting ripped backwards to gain any traction

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 and the cummins BEARLY tried...

  • I think your all fucking retarded cause we all know a cummins will out pull any other diesel any day.

  • this is no testament to the power of the trucks clearly the dodge is going to win its a crew cab which gives it more weight. If both trucks were identical body styles I would assume the cummins would get smoked :D

  • @tizjared man im sorry but you dont see a bunch of semi's with a v8 engine's because they dont pull as hard the inline 6 will out pull it every time

  • @SPRAYDOG94 inline 5 cummins

  • @tizjared i dont know about that, Cummins Diesels are amazing motors

  • you can't trust YouTube pulls. There are so many different factors that can change everything, and honestly, unless you had 2 exact bodies with different engines, you can't compare engines like this. This is more about weight displacement and traction. Maybe the Ford's tires were bald and the dodge had a lot of weight in the back. Completely inaccurate and invalid comparison.

  • the inline 6 is clearly a better diesel. even if it is 1.4 liters smaller and 2 cylinders less still the law was laid down. and for the dodge being newer, so what if that was a 94 dodge the results would have been the same

  • @jay3710 there is no replacement for displacement

  • @dbohman09 except for quality, obviously. and hp and tq id take a 500 hp smallblock over any 300hp big block it is just common sense

  • 1990s 7.3l IDI vs like an 04(?) dodge cummins yea thats fair considering the cummins has a whole lot more power.

  • @ViolentBiscuits very true also the dodge is extended cab creating a few more hundred pounds the smaller truck has to deal with and that 7.3 is prolly not even turbo at all

  • @livinctry Exactly.

  • @livinctry 7.3 does have turbo and the cummins does too

  • If that ford was at least a crew cab to way about the same as the dodge, it would have spanked that ass!

  • This looks like one of the few instances when a Powerstroke could have beat a Cummins if it only had more traction. Buy some new tires and throw something heavy in the back, then give it another go and let's see what happens.

  • Doesn't prove anything, except that THIS dodge is better than THIS Ford... But that doesn't mean anything about the millions of Fords and Dodges out there... Ford Dodge and Chevy are all Equal because they are all made by the Best Country on this planet! :D

  • @dbrandinni I'm a mopar guy and I agree they all have the good points and there bad ones.

  • @dbrandinni only if everyone would read this comment.. lets go bash on some toyotas or some nissans!!

  • @dbrandinni Actually, Chevy Duramax engines are designed and built by Isuzu, in japan, which is the only reason they ever place in any competition, because GM can't build a diesel worth a crap.

  • @Nickelh64 right from wiki "the 6.6 liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio."

  • @FORDGTFANATIC And not only is wiki an unreliable source where anyone can put what ever they want (ever notice the "Edit" on all their articles) but if you had ever seen the "Duramax Documentary" on the history channel, all the parts are made in japan, shipped to the US and ASSEMBLED where ever there warehouse is at.

  • @Nickelh64 and dodge can?

  • @FORDGTFANATIC Well apparently you didn't watch the whole video...

  • @Nickelh64 what kind of truck do you drive

  • @dbrandinni Are you fucking retarded???? that dodge had a way bigger engine you dumb ass! wonder why it got pulled! thats like having a tug of war between a tricycle and a semi! idiot

  • @spongebobflatass In my opinion, I believe the Cummins is a better diesel motor, but first off that was probably like a 5.9L diesel Cummins and the Powerstroke was probably like a 6.0L if not a 7.3L. The engine isn't the only thing that determines a truck pull. And you would know that if you weren't so fuckin ignorant. Why don't you learn a thing or two before you try to sound smart, It makes a big difference.

  • @spongebobflatass , your retarded.

that dodge is a 5.9, as that is the only diesel engine they put in a pickup up untill 07. and, ford had 2 options, 6.0. or a 7.3. sooooo how is a 5.9 bway bigger then a 6.0? Dumbass.

don't knock if you dont know.

  • @spongebobflatass you are an idiot ! the ford has a 7.3L dodge is 5.9L ... That means u could pour 7.3 liters of lets say water into the cylinders of the ford and 5.9 liters of water in the cummins so whos bigger??? Think real hard and slow :)

  • @dbrandinni All it proves is that dodge was able to hood up and get traction, maybe more weight, maybe better tires...You can tell that the ford had the power though just not the weight or traction

  • @dbrandinni bullllllllllll shitttttt ford sucks asss.....dodge is ok but chevy is were its at...the duramax will smoke the powerstroke and the cummins

  • @toxicclowns33 Your half right, the Duramax will smoke, and when that happens get a dodge or ford to tow it back to the lot...

  • @dbrandinni man dodges are ok but ford sucks

  • powerstrokes suck. i do agree with the whole year thing and all but if they were the same year the outcome wud have been the same

  • im a cummins fan and a powerstroke fan but i have to say that aint even a fair pull what is that a 97 stroker vs like a 2005 cummins??

  • if they would have matched the trucks better i would have left a better comment

  • so lame

  • Well the dodge is looks newer like a 07-09. That ford is old and if it has a carb is not making the power that the dodge is. Wy can't they test truck that are from the same timeline. That ford is like a 94 or somthing. And the dodge did not really pull it that far at all.

  • @airsoft10002

This video isn't about power. Clearly the Ford has enough power to pull the Dodge. The thing here is weight. The Dodge weighs more than the Ford. The outcome of this pull was expected.

  • Sorry but that wouldnt really happen it's all about who has better traction and that 1500 def couldnt do that . Just had better traction thats it

  • dodge is heavier......no shit the ford burned rubber....

  • well of course the dodge will win, hes got a straight six, and the fords prolly a 7.3l single cab. the dodge is an ext cab it looked like, little bit more weight

  • @fordpower18 exactly!!

  • ford was too light in the back, other truck had weight

  • @jellatoria gauranteed

  • No traction = loss everytime....regardless of the engine.

  • right like that was fair?

  • dodge rocks

  • @travismoore17 u may as well have just said "im gay" same thing as dodge rocks u little bitch

  • @TheArcherypro Fuck you why dont you go and power stroke your boyfriend

  • @travismoore17 ha ya too bad im actually straight dumb ass

  • @TheArcherypro best comment ever made!!!!! HAHAHAHA

  • @FORDGTFANATIC thats cute you little pecker eater

  • look at the ford its like a 1820 model. and the dodge is like a 2004 model.. no contest jeanious.!!!!! and i ford is probally jus stock, and the dodge is still strugglin@!11111111

  • @livinder 1820?

  • ford owns cummins dumbass dodge just has the contract to them

  • @nz103 you couldnt be more wrong. they owned very few shares in the early 90's and sold them in the mid 90's.

  • @nz103 ur a retard

  • Funny how everyone sticks up for ford... I keep seeing fords get pulled backwards. And the top comments was "it just lit up all for tires" well no shit.

  • There's nothing about Dodge here, it's all cummins, and Ford owns 51% of Cummins so ha.

  • @greendayrules11 and yet they don't use Cummins

  • is anyone honestly surprised? Fords suck

  • TOTAL CROCK OF SHIT.

  • long live cummins :D

  • yea it doesnt seem like people get it. these trucks are all nasty strong and can pull a house over....but they dont weigh the same. the lighter truck will always lose. i got a 2005 f-350 reg cab and an 2006 f-350 dump...same motors, and gear ratios...cept the dump is heavier...dump will always win. ...least with my powerstroke i dont have to worry about a 45 cent dowel pin trashing my 40,000 investment lol

  • @eurekaseven4me lol well to bad for you if you know anything about trucks, the fix is easy and once you do it you never need to worry about it ever again. I have driven a 2005 f-350 powerstroke and a 1996 ram 2500 12v cummins I have to say the dodge pulls a lot harder and in my opinion feels like an all around better truck even though it was 9 years older.

  • @eurekaseven4me No your right you don't have to worry about the tiny dowel pin the only problem a cummins ever had (early ones) and a fix that costs nothing to do your self. You only have The worst diesel engine in modern times 6.0. I feel for you cuz you got alot of problem to address lol

  • @sspat1976 i got 217,000 miles on my 05...pulling tandems and a 32' camper...never had to pull a bolt off that motor..let alone...do preventative maitnence to stop a 15 cent pin from ruining my day....

  • what year is the cummins?

  • how about you trade the tires on the two and have a rematch and see who wins

  • OK i own a dodge but thats not even fair thats like a 06 dodge vs like a 1996 stroker if your going to make dodge look good put it up to some competition!!

  • can a dodge truck barley pull a old ass 1990's ford??? yes but barley, now can a new dodge pull a new ford...helllll no

  • @afgandominator look aroun d a bit more 90% of videos with ford vs dodge diesel dodge wins easily, the other 10% its close so calm down there body.

  • I don't know why everyone gets so worked up over this kinda stuff. It's not whoever has the most power, it's whoever has the best traction!!! Tires, diff, etc.

  • cummins sucks balls

  • I like the cummins diesels, but i absolutely LOVE Fords. Dodge makes it Cummins shakes it. The only reason Dodge can sell trucks is because of the hemi and the Cummins diesel. without those, they would be out of business.

  • and it always will lol and for the no traction thing maby cus the name on it FORD when all 4 tires are spinning it is cus the dodge has more power and will drag the ford untill the tires fall off and then some

  • HAHA you gotta stroke to cum !, im a ford guy but cummins makes a good motor .... the dodge the motor is in ... not so much lol

  • @kodyscrazyy and i rather be cummin then stroken cus stroken is for the ladies to do lol

  • I'd rather get stroked than rammed.

  • @recniabsal good job compair a diesel to a gas burning truck lol figgur a ford guy would do that lol probl would still get drug down the street any ways

  • @kittiekat33759 I'm a Chevy guy actually. But Chrysler is far from quality. Without the Cummins they would've been put out of business long ago by GMC and Ford.

  • @recniabsal oh ok ya (Gay mans car) GMC and a (fucked over rebuild dodge) ford and chevy is a joke they cant even desigh a new motor just put the vet motor in it that will fix it right lol and if want to be straight on the facts FORD was the only manufacturer not to get a bail out by the government but from experience FORD GMC CHEVY were in the mechanics garage i worked in a wile back and not one Cummins hhhmmm how do u explain that just look at the facts on car and driver

  • nah cummins are the best diesel on the market by far, take it from a UTI student =)

  • i think the caterpillar has to hand it to the cummins sorry buddy.

  • ide rather be cummin' than strokin'. quit bitchin about unfair this unfair that. you all saw it.

  • that pussy dodge my have pulled that ford back but i bet you a 100 bucks that ford will go longer on milage and pull heavry loads and lastt longer
