Bechuanaland? 'Tis a true historical piece on wild lif. Very decently done, too, for a 1966 piece, before many of us were born, a time when serious wild life work -- from long term studies to camera decumentaries --- was next to no existence. I had to listen to "Bechuanaland" being pronounced a few times before I got it. Of course, the world famous Okavango inland Delta helped to decipher Bechuanaland as the English old colony of Botswana (hush: the English prefer the term "protectorate"!)
While Jim goes this way I will go across the Kalahari at first by rover then I will realize how dry and desolate it is and grab a plane. At least back then they had the will to help the animals. Nowadays they would let animals starve and say that's nature. The nature channels have gone backwards. At least they quit putting animal against animal to see who would win a fight. It is bad enough having to be an animal without humans messing them up.
hahah, this is not Africa, cats dnt miss like this in Africa.
