@jack24showrocks - He did, a few months after Alive or Just Breathing came out. Jesse was recently married, and was having trouble with his voice breaking too often. Howard came in from a band called Blood Has Been Shed, and actually did a reworked vocal track on Fixation on the Darkness.

The first song heard with Howard's writing was When Darkness Falls, which was on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack.

Let's be honest the new album had 1 or 2 good songs. Good. NOT great. I loved Howard's vocals but his screams sucked and really weren't even that prevelant in the new album. Jesse has the sickest screams I've ever heard. Saw them once with Howard, now i shall see them with Jesse in April. You can't really compare KSE with Jesse and KSE with Howard because it's practically two different bands in two different genres.

@squeakymoths Howard's screams are the most powerfull scream in metal, don't forget blood has been shed... He is Black, he has a more powerfull voice than anyone. Look at Barack Obama for example HAHAHA :D But Yes actually the last album is less brutal vocaslistly than the old album.

Lets get this clear, When Jesse was with the band, They only sold how many cd's??? Like over 100,000. When Howard Joined the band, so many more people got interested over 1,000,000. Plus they made it on the music charts, guitar hero, And got more Popular , reason why "Howard Jones" + The best band members in the world were so much BETTER. Just pointing out the facts for those who say "Jesse is the best" Like retards.

but, with howard and all i think as a singer technically he is a better singer but i don't think he put more in his voice than jesse did for AoJB but jesse did blow out his voice so i would hope howard didn't sing with that much emotion. i for sure think that jesse is better at singing his songs that he did with KSE, and i think howard sings his songs better
