@DarrenWS6 i was figuring it was because of it being a gas hog but not the to many problems im not the kind of person that says chevy is the best and never has problems i like all three dodge chevy an ford but when i watched your videos it seemed like a perfect truck
@joeldude76 Yeah it surprised me, brake booster went, and power steering. Traded before warranty was up. Family is die hard Ford and I ave adapted to that. I bought a 04 F150 Supercab after this truck and now currently have an 07 Supercrew.

@NorthAmericanArcher No, when I had this truck you can tell in the background I had no neighbors. I currently live residential but neighbors are never bothered by my F150. Only near midnight could I see my exhaust as a problem.
@MWHchevy 2 door trucks shouldn't exist imo, I can't ever see myself having one. I traded this in in 2008 for a SuperCab F150, I now have a Supercrew F150 and can't see myself in anything less than crewcab anymore.

I just bought a 1970 C-10 a few days ago and the guy that had it before me put headers on it but stock mufflers. I am going to put Flowmaster Super 44's on it. The truck is sweet. It's got an 8 inch superlift suspension with a 2 inch body lift. It's a work in progress. Check out the video on my page and any suggestions I'm open to. And the plates are expired so calling the police would be a waste of your time :-)
@underoathfan14 Its completely impossible to place a Full Sized Vehicle of any kind into ones rectum. Plus there's no reason to get Butt Hurt Little fella
@DarrenWS6 i completely based my exhaust from yours, only i went with the single in dual out. thank you soo much for taking the time to make these videos! soo happy i went with the 44's over the 40's. but ill agree with you, it gets pretty annoying due to the noise. and not to mention it rattles the whole cab at high rpms!
@CCat91 I have the same truck in this video, I want to install flowmaster's but dont know which to go with. Um... which series did you say "rattles the whole cab at high rpms!" the 44's or the 40's? Also how many Chambers are you running? I had a 40series 2 Chamber exhaust on my 2001 Z28 and it sounded amazing!
@TheDFM007 Just get the Super 44s, drone made me wanna shoot myself after awhile, but the exterior note isn't all that bad at all. Almost designed for this truck lol.
@Trdpshr they were in the truck when I bought it, but hi-flow cats always add more volume while performing as healthy as OEM cats. The aggression in the3 revs shows with the cats.

@DarrenWS6 Haha alright, Hey, its only annoying when your on the highway. Gotta love that drone :X Im only 18 so it doesn't bother me, my dad goes crazy though haha
@madtownmadman No, a 3v 5.4L, much better truck. Silverado gave me too many problems I was willing to deal with, and a really cheap & uncomfortable truck. Going back to Ford was a smart move on my end.
sounds great and im a chevy guy. but is there anyone else that thinks that style of pipes looks gay. maybe its just me but i never liked them like that. its got to be under the bumper or straight out the side. they just never seem to look right to me.

@xriffingXirishXguyx yep, a month after I recorded this video actually, the description gives the hint. I couldn't afford to fuel it up at $4.20 a gallon, and it broke down a couple times and I was just too dissatisfied with it.
@Gunnerotis 14.7 god lol. Thats what my F150 is getting city nearly, high 14s low 15s. Well it definitely sounds like you got the 4.10 gear ratio like mine had, highway mpg failure hahah.
@tomggray i had worn 285/75/r16s bfg all terrains basicaly they are 33s with them i got the 14.7 with a K&N cold air and a Magnaflow dual in single out
i now have new 285/75/r16s bfg all terrains, K&N cold air, and 2.5" true duals straight piped
im goin to keep track this trip and see how she does
hey man i got a flowmaster 40 series on my 04 1500 5.3 v8.. will getting a super 44 si/do muffler make it deeper and a bit louder... Thanks in advance
@PrairieKid03 Not a whole lot. If anything the change will be WOT because the 44 rasps more. If you want it louder, consider hi-flow cats, or longtube headers.
@youdragon They were installed in the truck when I got it but they are Magnaflows and my countless measurments I've confirmed them to me part # 94109 cats.
@94Speedking their ok, mine shitted out on me way too young so i'm left with dissatisfaction. I like them a bit though. I do not like Dodge at all, but GM and Ford are good in my book. I just dont like when someone starts shit talking makes or phraising them because an online immature war starts lol. Look at any truck racing or advertisement video and thats all you see in the commentary. Shits old.
I'm a huge fan of Chevys. To me, Toyota has the ugliest vehicles, but with a hell of reliability. I hate Toyotas, so my goal is to make Chevrolet have the most reliability, crushing Toyota once and for all. Few weeks ago, I got my driver's permit amd soon my first vehicle will be an '06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, my favorite truck!
@94Speedking Toyotas shit to me, good transmission, only positive to them. Otherwise GM and Toyota are relatively the same since they share features and designs. Just getting your permit? Then what do you need a 2500HD for?
Well, the 2500HD Silverado is my favorite truck. I just hope it has a warrenty on it. If not, I think I'll save up my cash for it. Cast around $13,000 to over $20,000 or $30,000. I might wait a little longer, because I still haven't adapted to the driving world that much, but I love it!
@94Speedking Well a 2006's warranty ran out in 2009. the GMT900 ( 07+ ) have the 5yr 100k warranty which is good till '12, but for a new driver a 2500HD is a bit much, 7,000lbs. For just a general driver, the 2500HD is a poor choice, stick with a 1500 for decent economy and handling. If you want the HD front end, the 2006 1500s were dressed with the raised hood and split grill as a final tweak to the GMT800 trucks before their closing of production.
@94Speedking no problem. I know trucks quite well, but if your not gonna tow 9,000lbs every month save your gas money and get a 5.3 1500. Just as good a truck, and 15mpg city 20 highway vs 11 city 16 highway.
@DarrenWS6 Allright, I'll get a 1500, but with a 6.0l engine. I know it eats up more gas. so I'll twin turbocharge the engine to make it conserve more feul and increase the engine power. I'll also install a hybrid battery to make it eco-friendly. I even want the Super 44 exhaust and try to make it sound like your '05 2500HD! But I just need to know, Where do you get Super 44 exhaust?
@94Speedking You cant get a 6.0L in a 1500 unless you get an 01 - 03 1500HD, or a 2007+ LTZ Vmax package truck. Should consider Borla XR1 or Pro XS, much better than the crappy Flowmaster stuff. The 5.3L is just as good an engine and with a tune and induction and proper exhaust can run circles on a 6.0L. The 6.0L Vortec is more meant for torque pulling. I bought mufflers and tips from Summit Racing and designed the system myself, and had my exhaust friend fabricate and install it.
Ok, so I'll check out more vids of the 5.3 Silverado with borla XR1 or Pro Xs exhaust and see which sounds better. I just hope the sounds are real and not dubbed when I watch them. Sorry if you think I'm talking too much shit. I hope I'm not bothering you.
@94Speedking dubbed exhaust video? who would make one of them for a real video? lol. It all depends on how good of a camera they are using. digital cameras videos suck. I use a Sony Handycam for my videos and the sound is rich and accurate. If ya wanna talk further we can talk more responsive on a messenger if you have aol or yahoo.
Thanks for not thinking I'm too much shit. I just recently checked other vids of the 5.3 and I just won't get their true sound. What are the best vids for the 5.3 V8? Which can I look up so I can get their real, true sounds. Oh, since you and I enjoy chatting, can I add you as a friend on my account?
Would you like it if I added you as a friend on my Youtube account? I just love to make new friends. See what you think and I'll see if it's ok with you.
@DarrenWS6 I'm thinking about getting the Banks Monster exhaust, which I recently heard on a GMC 5.3! That vid had the highest quality! Do you think Banks Monster exhaust sounds nice?
everyones entitled to an opinion. I personally think they are redneck low class in trucks, but the videos of them in little cars scaring people is amusing to watch.
@94Speedking Actually it might sound fairly well, on the 5.7L that is. GM and Toyota share ideas, have you ever looked at some of the features and how the engine is built in compare to the Silverado, they are very similar. Toyota just as a more bullet proof transmission, and a piece of shit body and cab lol. But engine wise they're similar. Both pushrods, really similar to the 5.7L LS1.
I'm not much of a Toyota fan. Toyotas are ugly-looking piece of shit vehicles, but with durable transmissions. I just hope there engine sounds are accurate. But still, I hate stupid vehicles, like Toyota.
@94Speedking yeah you said it. The Toyota owners can be real assholes too. Cocky fuckers for the fact that their company has the most recalls out there. GM just listed a recall that sounds pretty useless, but GM is still far beyond Toyota brands. Ford and GM only here.
I have two teachers at my school. one of them scares the shit out of me. She drives a 6th gen Camry, and my other teacher drives a Toyota Yaris and it looks like shit. But, my older friend has a 4th or 5th gen Camry and it looks good. Check out older Toyota models. They don't look like much shit as the newer models.
this prolly wouldnt sound much different from my 350 would it. i did have true dual 44's on mine but one of the cases got a hole in it and i had them cut off. i wish i hadnt.
Only a little different, it would have that 350 sound to it, not the Vortec 6.0 sound. Theres a silver stepside with ricer tails thats a 350 running the same setup, sounds real good. You can find it in related video.
UIf you put new Super 44s in, Flowmaster is now making them in t-409 stainless, vs the standard aluminized crap that rots away.
@DarrenWS6 im wanting to get some pacesetter LTs and a single 44 like what 01dodgeram360 had on that black one. i would call him by his name but idk it.lol i already have the tips i want and they are 4x22s i just need the headers and muffler now
my truck was duled from the manifold all the way to the muffler to a stock 2 in 1 out set up from the factory, this summer i went and cut he stock on off and finhed dualing it out with a singe flowmaster 40 2in 2 out set up, now it fillin the gap where the muffler is and move the muffler to where they are duled and put right behind the bumper will it still sound good?
how come your super 44 exhaust is so loud ? i ordered the same muffflers , just beccause i heard your truck ahah i used to have glasspacks on my 1975 2500 gmc its 4x4 standard beautifull truck lol , its got a 350 but the 350s i hear with fowmaster exhaust are nothing like yours there not that loud
6.0Ls are just naturally loud, with their larger cams, and their mid length tube header/manifolds. This truck had 3" mandrel bent duals, hi-flow catalytic converters, and 4" tips.
does your exhaust clank once u reach a certain rpm? i ask because i have the same system as u on my 88 1500 gmc it has the catalytic concerter taken off an it makes a clankin noise once i hit a certain rmp.thanks
So, I got dual super 44's (3'' in and out which was a mistake, i needed 2.75") on my '98 K2500 w/ the 7.4L partially because of you videos as i thought it was the closest to what mine would sound like. I only have turn-downs right now. I don't know if these mufflers were really meant for my truck, but it is extremely deep and highly resonant. Unfortunately they're not very impressive otherwise. I'll post a vid response in the next few days.
I have been looking into getting some Flowmaster Super 44's for my 2005 Chevy Silverado, but I know nothing about exhaust to be honest. I looked on the flowmaster website, and it says the Super 44's cannot be used on my truck, any suggestions on what I should get (Everything on my truck is stock)
Super 44s are universal mufflers, they dont point out blank say these will not work on trucks, theres more room under a truck than any other vehicle so they'll definitely fit.
Alright, thanks. And, right now I'm a little tight on money, but I can still get the muffler because it's only like $80, do you think it will sound good with the stock pipe? (I might can get duals later on)
i have to ask you a serious question. i have a dakota with a stock cat and a glasspack and i keep geting pulled over for loud exhaust. and i no for a fact that this sound way more loud and badass than my truck so you ever get pulled over
Twice actually, first time was a warming because I gunned it in town, second time was a $80 noise violation but it was my fault for gunning it again in town. Otherwise I never really got bothered for it. I'm a north PA resident so depending on your area the noise tolerances may be different.
depends on the cop. i got pulled over headed bak to college one night, and i have the quietest non stock vehicle up there, he just wanted to see what i was doin (profiling lol)
hey did your silverado have resonators on it? cause my 05 6.0l has what appear to be cats right off the headers then a couple of feet later there are resonators/ mid cats? which ones did you replace with the high flow cats on your silverado?
ya got everything to get mine done except money for install lol going with original 40s h pipe 2.25 all the way the back will post video as soon as it is done
have you ever noticed a lot of water coming out your pipes? I have it all the time.
if it sits idling for 5 minutes (warm, cold, summer time, winter time... 24x7) there will be water flying out from my pipes.. a good 3+ feet out behind the 45's.
nice truck by the way! i love the look of 45's. so glad i went with it.

@xriffingXirishXguyx yep, a month after I recorded this video actually, the description gives the hint. I couldn't afford to fuel it up at $4.20 a gallon, and it broke down a couple times and I was just too dissatisfied with it.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
damn dude that sucks. what was the mileage on that? 6-8 mpg?
xriffingXirishXguyx 1 year ago
It averaged 10 - 11 city, 16 highway. Absolutely horrible lol. For a mpg less I could have had an 8.1
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
damn, that REALLY sucks.
xriffingXirishXguyx 1 year ago
@xriffingXirishXguyx lol yeah it wasn't good hahah. Lesson learned, if going 3/4 ton, go Diesel. I didn't need a 3/4 ton anyways.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
i heard biodiesel engines gets a shitload of horsepower. i wanna drop one in my camaro haha
xriffingXirishXguyx 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 damn i wish i got 16mpg highway lol
i was getting 14.7 on a 360mile trip this past summer according to the trucks reading but i didnt accualy calculate it out
im goin on long trip this weekend an well see how it does
i need a programmer or something lol
Gunnerotis 1 year ago
@Gunnerotis 14.7 god lol. Thats what my F150 is getting city nearly, high 14s low 15s. Well it definitely sounds like you got the 4.10 gear ratio like mine had, highway mpg failure hahah.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 thats wht my 1500 got intown before my exhaust
but we will see how she does this weekend
mite be time to upgrade to a D-Max?
Gunnerotis 1 year ago
@Gunnerotis Your putting a D-max in the '00? Or considering one for your HD? I'm confused.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 i sold my 1500 to get my HD
an im thinking sell my HD an get a HD with a D-Max lol
Gunnerotis 1 year ago
@Gunnerotis ah ok. How come you were towing it the one time? Sold to a friend or something? or delivering?
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 sold it to a friend an he had a CV boot go out so he didnt want to drive it so i was pulling it out to his shop
Gunnerotis 1 year ago
@Gunnerotis oh hahah ok.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
what kinda tires get you the 14.7? and do you have a cold air intake? I recently put true duals, super 44's on my 07 2500hd.
I'm up about 1.5 mpg from stock. will be installing K7N intake later this week. Thanks
tomggray 1 year ago
@tomggray i had worn 285/75/r16s bfg all terrains basicaly they are 33s with them i got the 14.7 with a K&N cold air and a Magnaflow dual in single out
i now have new 285/75/r16s bfg all terrains, K&N cold air, and 2.5" true duals straight piped
im goin to keep track this trip and see how she does
Gunnerotis 1 year ago

DarrenWS6 1 year ago
hey man i got a flowmaster 40 series on my 04 1500 5.3 v8.. will getting a super 44 si/do muffler make it deeper and a bit louder... Thanks in advance
PrairieKid03 1 year ago
@PrairieKid03 Not a whole lot. If anything the change will be WOT because the 44 rasps more. If you want it louder, consider hi-flow cats, or longtube headers.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
how much were the cats and did u gt them online?
youdragon 1 year ago
@youdragon They were installed in the truck when I got it but they are Magnaflows and my countless measurments I've confirmed them to me part # 94109 cats.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Chevrolet all the way!!!!!
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking hah..
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
What do you exactly mean by "Hah"?
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking It means i'm implying ha ha another GM brand name phraiser.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Don't you like GM trucks?
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking their ok, mine shitted out on me way too young so i'm left with dissatisfaction. I like them a bit though. I do not like Dodge at all, but GM and Ford are good in my book. I just dont like when someone starts shit talking makes or phraising them because an online immature war starts lol. Look at any truck racing or advertisement video and thats all you see in the commentary. Shits old.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
I'm a huge fan of Chevys. To me, Toyota has the ugliest vehicles, but with a hell of reliability. I hate Toyotas, so my goal is to make Chevrolet have the most reliability, crushing Toyota once and for all. Few weeks ago, I got my driver's permit amd soon my first vehicle will be an '06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, my favorite truck!
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking Toyotas shit to me, good transmission, only positive to them. Otherwise GM and Toyota are relatively the same since they share features and designs. Just getting your permit? Then what do you need a 2500HD for?
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Well, the 2500HD Silverado is my favorite truck. I just hope it has a warrenty on it. If not, I think I'll save up my cash for it. Cast around $13,000 to over $20,000 or $30,000. I might wait a little longer, because I still haven't adapted to the driving world that much, but I love it!
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking Well a 2006's warranty ran out in 2009. the GMT900 ( 07+ ) have the 5yr 100k warranty which is good till '12, but for a new driver a 2500HD is a bit much, 7,000lbs. For just a general driver, the 2500HD is a poor choice, stick with a 1500 for decent economy and handling. If you want the HD front end, the 2006 1500s were dressed with the raised hood and split grill as a final tweak to the GMT800 trucks before their closing of production.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Thank you for the advice. I'll see what I can do. Sounds like you really know your trucks.
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking no problem. I know trucks quite well, but if your not gonna tow 9,000lbs every month save your gas money and get a 5.3 1500. Just as good a truck, and 15mpg city 20 highway vs 11 city 16 highway.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 Allright, I'll get a 1500, but with a 6.0l engine. I know it eats up more gas. so I'll twin turbocharge the engine to make it conserve more feul and increase the engine power. I'll also install a hybrid battery to make it eco-friendly. I even want the Super 44 exhaust and try to make it sound like your '05 2500HD! But I just need to know, Where do you get Super 44 exhaust?
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking You cant get a 6.0L in a 1500 unless you get an 01 - 03 1500HD, or a 2007+ LTZ Vmax package truck. Should consider Borla XR1 or Pro XS, much better than the crappy Flowmaster stuff. The 5.3L is just as good an engine and with a tune and induction and proper exhaust can run circles on a 6.0L. The 6.0L Vortec is more meant for torque pulling. I bought mufflers and tips from Summit Racing and designed the system myself, and had my exhaust friend fabricate and install it.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Ok, so I'll check out more vids of the 5.3 Silverado with borla XR1 or Pro Xs exhaust and see which sounds better. I just hope the sounds are real and not dubbed when I watch them. Sorry if you think I'm talking too much shit. I hope I'm not bothering you.
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking dubbed exhaust video? who would make one of them for a real video? lol. It all depends on how good of a camera they are using. digital cameras videos suck. I use a Sony Handycam for my videos and the sound is rich and accurate. If ya wanna talk further we can talk more responsive on a messenger if you have aol or yahoo.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Thanks for not thinking I'm too much shit. I just recently checked other vids of the 5.3 and I just won't get their true sound. What are the best vids for the 5.3 V8? Which can I look up so I can get their real, true sounds. Oh, since you and I enjoy chatting, can I add you as a friend on my account?
94Speedking 1 year ago
Would you like it if I added you as a friend on my Youtube account? I just love to make new friends. See what you think and I'll see if it's ok with you.
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking lol why would i refuse? go ahead.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
@DarrenWS6 I'm thinking about getting the Banks Monster exhaust, which I recently heard on a GMC 5.3! That vid had the highest quality! Do you think Banks Monster exhaust sounds nice?
94Speedking 1 year ago
Banks makes good stuff. Go for it.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
Sweet! Have you ever thought about putting a train horn on any of your trucks?
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking No I think those are stupid.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
I don't mean to disagree, but I love the sound of train horns! I'm obsessed with their rich sounds!
94Speedking 1 year ago
everyones entitled to an opinion. I personally think they are redneck low class in trucks, but the videos of them in little cars scaring people is amusing to watch.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
I bet that exhaust you installed on your truck would sound like shit on a Toyota.
94Speedking 1 year ago
@94Speedking Actually it might sound fairly well, on the 5.7L that is. GM and Toyota share ideas, have you ever looked at some of the features and how the engine is built in compare to the Silverado, they are very similar. Toyota just as a more bullet proof transmission, and a piece of shit body and cab lol. But engine wise they're similar. Both pushrods, really similar to the 5.7L LS1.
DarrenWS6 1 year ago
I'm not much of a Toyota fan. Toyotas are ugly-looking piece of shit vehicles, but with durable transmissions. I just hope there engine sounds are accurate. But still, I hate stupid vehicles, like Toyota.
94Speedking 1 year ago

97chevyZ71350 2 years ago
Only a little different, it would have that 350 sound to it, not the Vortec 6.0 sound. Theres a silver stepside with ricer tails thats a 350 running the same setup, sounds real good. You can find it in related video.
UIf you put new Super 44s in, Flowmaster is now making them in t-409 stainless, vs the standard aluminized crap that rots away.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
@DarrenWS6 im wanting to get some pacesetter LTs and a single 44 like what 01dodgeram360 had on that black one. i would call him by his name but idk it.lol i already have the tips i want and they are 4x22s i just need the headers and muffler now
97chevyZ71350 2 years ago
@97chevyZ71350 Nice. It sounds like you are on your way.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
were did u get this system, how much was is it?
kylepratt29 2 years ago
designed it myself, just used Super 44 mufflers with Magnaflow cats and tips.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
my truck was duled from the manifold all the way to the muffler to a stock 2 in 1 out set up from the factory, this summer i went and cut he stock on off and finhed dualing it out with a singe flowmaster 40 2in 2 out set up, now it fillin the gap where the muffler is and move the muffler to where they are duled and put right behind the bumper will it still sound good?
youdragon 2 years ago
how come your super 44 exhaust is so loud ? i ordered the same muffflers , just beccause i heard your truck ahah i used to have glasspacks on my 1975 2500 gmc its 4x4 standard beautifull truck lol , its got a 350 but the 350s i hear with fowmaster exhaust are nothing like yours there not that loud
MsRecneps 2 years ago
6.0Ls are just naturally loud, with their larger cams, and their mid length tube header/manifolds. This truck had 3" mandrel bent duals, hi-flow catalytic converters, and 4" tips.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
does your exhaust clank once u reach a certain rpm? i ask because i have the same system as u on my 88 1500 gmc it has the catalytic concerter taken off an it makes a clankin noise once i hit a certain rmp.thanks
sasquatchhunter2 2 years ago
What is 'clank' like a pop? I dont have this truck anymore, but it popped consistantly after 2300rpm
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
i guess thts wat it is its annoyin as all get out.any solutions??
sasquatchhunter2 2 years ago
quieter mufflers.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
So, I got dual super 44's (3'' in and out which was a mistake, i needed 2.75") on my '98 K2500 w/ the 7.4L partially because of you videos as i thought it was the closest to what mine would sound like. I only have turn-downs right now. I don't know if these mufflers were really meant for my truck, but it is extremely deep and highly resonant. Unfortunately they're not very impressive otherwise. I'll post a vid response in the next few days.

Truck sounds great.
GitRDoneDaleJr 2 years ago
Super 44s are universal mufflers, they dont point out blank say these will not work on trucks, theres more room under a truck than any other vehicle so they'll definitely fit.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
Alright, thanks. And, right now I'm a little tight on money, but I can still get the muffler because it's only like $80, do you think it will sound good with the stock pipe? (I might can get duals later on)
GitRDoneDaleJr 2 years ago
yeah it'll sound good, anythings better than stock.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
True. Thanks for the information.

i have to ask you a serious question. i have a dakota with a stock cat and a glasspack and i keep geting pulled over for loud exhaust. and i no for a fact that this sound way more loud and badass than my truck so you ever get pulled over
gregifer590 2 years ago
Twice actually, first time was a warming because I gunned it in town, second time was a $80 noise violation but it was my fault for gunning it again in town. Otherwise I never really got bothered for it. I'm a north PA resident so depending on your area the noise tolerances may be different.
DarrenWS6 2 years ago
depends on the cop. i got pulled over headed bak to college one night, and i have the quietest non stock vehicle up there, he just wanted to see what i was doin (profiling lol)

hey did your silverado have resonators on it? cause my 05 6.0l has what appear to be cats right off the headers then a couple of feet later there are resonators/ mid cats? which ones did you replace with the high flow cats on your silverado?
smc13s 2 years ago
my truck had two 12" long shiny cats under it ( Magnaflow ) and that was it, no resonators in this one.
