not a tsunami u no its one when all the water on the shore gets sucked out in to the ocean and a tsunami usally goes farther than that but it could have been a very very mild wave but it is highly unlikly that u would be able to catch a real tsunami.

@singerluver47 at the time this happen Indonesia had no tsunami warning system set up. People didnt have any idea that a tsunami was heading over. Before a tsunami hits the ocean retreats and it attracts people because they never see anything like that happen. These people were not educated on what happens before a tsunami hit& had no idea a tsunami was heading over. Also when a tsunami hits, it travels hundres of mph. Since this happen a tsunami system has been set up.
