I always hated this movie for that scence the true question was where in the hell was the batwing (batman's plane) when you needed it. But I am thankful for the transformation of the charecter it just makes Batman's supporting cast way more awesomer than the other superheroes

Jason was revived by Ra's in the movie. Jason dies AGAIN and is revived because of Superboy Prime. Currently, Jason is trying to redeem himself as a true hero by leading 'The Outlaws' which is why he currently wears the bat symbol underneath his jacket. After his reformation, he is willing to join the Bat family again.

It's good stuff, don't have a link for it though so you might need to do a bit of digging. Doesn't look like a mission for redemption either. At least its not starting off that way.
