WOOLWORTHS IS NOT GONE!!!
It will re-open in the Summer in Liverpool.
Only 1 store at the moment but it will grow back into the shoes it left behind.

I used to go to Woolworths 5 and dime as we called them...Kresgie had a similar operation which I believed turned into KMart (ugh) :)

It TRULY is a SAD day! End of an ERA! My grandmother worked for Woolworths for MANY yrs in the USA!
