  • He's way behind the bit a lot of the time, but I guess that's ok because he's green lol.

    Nice horse!

  • Hi, id like to get this dvd but im not sure if it would be the right one of your series for me...does it have mrs HP talking through as she rides? i think its really good when she does that.

i have a video of some flatwork on my videos, any advice would be appreciated, about my flatwork or dvd choice :-)

  • Hi, I'm thinking of getting this DVD, i like the look of your DVD series but I am not sure which would be best for me, I think this one, especially if it is Mrs Hp talking through things as she rides, I have posted a video here of some (attempted)flatwork, maybe you could have a look at it and let me know which dvd you would recommend

  • Lovely horse and calm rider! I'm just wondering about the position of the head and neck. Why does the horse curl behind the bit 90% of the time?

  • Because this is her first test and she is Green and not 'On the Bit' properly yet and because my mouths are very light with plenty in reserve and because we want young one's behind early, rather than above. regards

  • is there any other previews? i want to get this DVD but dad dosent want me getting it cuz he thinks itll just be a video of your wife riding around in circles. is there any previews from the actual vid, including the sound so dad can see what shes like?

  • No xwaabaa, It was filmed over 24 rides I think and went right through from hand over by the Trainer to the first competition where she won. regards

  • Well done! I didn't know that you could compete without a bit in dressage. Maybe I need to look up the EFA rules!!! Quite impressed, going to look at your other videos!

  • oo right cool it just looks high up must be my filly has a low mouth and the bit sits lower sorry still nice tho

  • oh my god is that bit less

thats my dream with my filly shes a welsh cob ok not the type of horse you see doin dressage but shes so push botton i just love her movments and i cant wait till the summer to bring he ron ready for when shes 4 so we can compet where can i get some dvds from of your wife

  • Thanks Millie. Nice Paint :)

  • no, loose ring snaffle millie

  • *sighs* if only i could do what you guys do for a living I'd be happy to die at 30!

I wish I lived closer to you, I'd love to send my boy to you for some dressage training!

  • Lovely young horse.

    Is the test prelim?

Just wondering why sitting trot is used when it is not required for another year in tests, and why spurs are used when according to the efa rule book they should be used in conjunction with a double bridle? (6th year).

    Lovely young horse though,

Congratulations on the win and high percentage though.

  • Yes, Prelim test. Mrs. HP sit trots because she can control the horse better however, rising trot in warm up and home. Spurs due to first time in ring, horses scared of rope. Need to leg yield and not learn wrong thing. regards

  • Just for explanation, this young Filly had the important step on the German Training Scale established. Rythym. The first step I think. As I said in the intro, 24 rides at 30 minutes and a total of 12 hours from my handing her over to Mrs. HP.

  • Amazing, really amazing. The elevation in her step and lovely arch of the neck is tremendous.
