Absolutely chilling, haunting, and eerie opening. That captivating intro to a very special, particular world. Whenever I used to play that game back in 1996, it really felt *I* needed to complete it to give myself peace of mind. Thruth is, I never got into Selenia even. But I absolutely didn't like the 'level' of the broken ship... gave me the creeps.
myst, riven, myst 3, uru were pretty good, 4 and 5 I never really got into the puzzles pissed me off and lost interest in the game themselves. revelation was a beautiful game though.
Myst was the very first adventure I ever played. But I got stuck at many points, so I called it Mist, the german word for crap. ;) But I always loved it and I still do.
exactly. I didn't just quit, I boycotted gametap as well! Realmyst was not the only one that was bug-ridden. 3D pinball had a "blue-screen" bug in one of its bonus challenges, and Simcity 2000 was taken away, along with the apparently ONLY PC Tetris. PS: I plan to play PC Tetris' theme on synthesizer. ;)
im stuck on the 2nd age, the one with all the ships, if found both blue and a red page, ive determined theres nothing else i can do there for now but i cant leave, am i mising something?
I played this only on gametap, but quit because it was covered with bugs that drastically interfered with game play, so quit the whole thing forever, literally. But maybe, it I get enough money, I can buy it for $60 bucks or so.
Brings me back to 1992. This is still one of the most influential games of all time.
